@mssoftbrn I would say it is light to med. weight. It's heavier than a cereal box if that helps. Maybe two cereal boxes put together. The weight from the manufacturer is .022. HtH
I have a question, what is the trick to cutting chipboard? i have tried this so many times and it always shifts around on the mat..even when the mat is brand new :o( I am so frustrated and I have wasted so much time and money I am just about ready to give up :o( any help at all would be greatly appreciated it.
@TCahal It sounds like your chipboard is too thick. I use a .022 thick chipboard and it works great. If you can't find any I do have it for sale on my blog. Scroll down the left side of my blog and you will see it. Hope this helps.
@TheBugJunkie I think that's what my chipboard is, I got it at my LSS and its the same kind that one of them uses in her Cricut...we shall see what happens the next time I try...I may just end up taping it down to my mat LOL
@TCahal when i cut chipboard/cereal boxes on my cricut i sometimes hold it down but not so hard. i hold it enough for it to stay put while it glids through my cricut. there is that deep cutting blade that you can buy too but i just use me the way it is. max pressure, dial 6 on the blade. but ya everyone is different. but thats what i do
This is a great mini. i love the papers you used. so cute. tfs

@stephanoid69 I will have to try holding it down; I was using the deep cut blade; wonder if I had the blade depth to deep?
