@0zyzzyz0 yeah but if you believe that and base your life on it, you exit the world of human social relationships that themselves rely on meaning and purpose. you basically forfeit any right to have an opinion on what SHOULD be and when you do that, you no longer are participating in the exchange of non survival oriented ideas, therefore, you exit deep meaningful relationships. nihilism leads to a life devoid of beauty since beauty requires meaning for such a definition.

freydis you are full of it. nihilism is a destructive, critical force. you have the same delusion nietzsche had, that somehow you'll create a new way of life after destroying the old. but the same justifications for critique would be used in any future system that emerges. so nihilism is basically a pointless force, it doesn't lead to constructive ends. and if it is pointlessly destructive, it is bad.

This is more like absurdism rather than nihilism. You are giving your endeavor meaning. A true nihilist wouldn't make a video because he would consider it ultimately meaningless. A true nihilist considers even the truth meaningless and realizes that ultimate truth is impossible to comprehend. What you are doing is more in the vein of existential and absurdist thought. You are AT LEAST giving one action meaning, hence, why you created this video.

nihilism is not a single be all/end all philosophy. it is as malleable as the person who follows it. most, which is sad, follow the same dictionary nihilism that stupid stef creature spouts,,,time and effort and free will makes a nihilist, not rules. after all, nihilism is just making yourself aware of the flaws in yourself and transcending them...the over-human. our society is one of the biggest flaws ever...we must destroy it. anarchism is different but i wouldnt presume to know more.

While i agree with your sentiment, this seems more akin to anarchism, not nihilism. Nihlists do not belive in value, therefore, a true nihlist would not wish to create this better world you speak of, as it has no value over our a current one. A nihlist accepts the world as it is, but rejects societies subjective truths and values.

Nihilists do not believe in objective value, but are aware that subjective value exists. You say a nihilist would not wish to create this better world because it is not objectively more valuable than any other world. That is true, but a nihilist still has desires of his own and may desire the destruction of the state. Why does that make that person not a true nihilist?

Also our objective was not to sum up everything nihilism is about in one 3 minute video...thats absurd if you think thats what we were aiming for...there will be more to come....but We do not discourage criticism we actually implore it...but at least give some evidence to support your conclusions or assumptions.
