And US responded by calling Iran "an axis of evil" threatening Iran with attack, repeated embargos and economic attacks and continuous support of Iran's enemy Israel". US still holds Iran's frozen assets from pre-1979 and still imposes economic embargo. If you listened to Obama's "Greeting" at (2:10) he again tied the "great nation of Iran" to "Arms and terror"!
This is a small start but far from real positive action. Iran deserves better.
