Are you allowed to protest on the same corner as the org?

@ThetanBait Before I arrived on the scene to protest with the anons, three of them were right in front, then they called the cops and were told to move across the street to the coffee shop's area. The cops also said we should have been in front of city hall/queens park (maybe because of other peaceful protests also occuring).
