I don't know which came first; Radiata or SOTET... I didn't understand what Fayt armor meant, but few months later, my friend introduced me to SOTET, and now, I was like "OH SHIT" lol... I don't know why Radiata got such a low rating... it's epic...

i prefer the human side as far as being the easiest and the non-human as being the morally better choice(after seeing the earth dragon get killed :\)

The nonhuman side is shit. The only good part about it is that Ridley doesn't die. Perhaps Ganz or even Gawain don't die either. It only implied that Ganz died, it gave no real proof. Besides, Valkyrie can just resurrect them like she did Cairn, right? And why does Jack carry Ridley? She may not have died either. I hate this game how it leaves so many damn questions

I don't know -- I had a real hard time choosing the non-human path the second time through, just because the fairy creatures spend 90% of the game treating you like shit with little to no provocation. What the knights did to the dwarves was horrible and I sympathized there, but... seriously, there are only so many times I feel like talking to an elf or a dwarf and having them insult me to my face, even after I've befriended them. Human side was way better and way more interesting for me.

You get to keep that armor forever. Its an item in your inventory with a pretty nice description. It says something like its from a saga where the protagonist was destined to kill off a god or something like that. A nod to the storyline of SO3. Plus, its a pretty powerful armor. After I got it, I went through the rest of the whole game without changing it other than to see what the others looked like. Its kinda cool when Ganz and Jack are together and Ganz has the Claude armor on.

sure,first you have to be on the humans side,then you go to the radiata castle and go to ridley's room and an alien will transport you back to your home, then you got SO3 armor. Haven't played this in awhile so you moght have to check in here and there until the alien shows up in ridley's room.

Radiata Stories Hint: Fayt Liengod Armor

Speak to Dynas after defeating the wind dragon and he will allow you back into the knights. Once you have this event secured, go to Ridley's room and there will be a ghost like figure and the screen will flash. After that Jack will wake up in his room and have an armor that looks like Fayt from Star Ocean 3.

I had this problem too, when I first found out I was too far so I put another game on the memory card and retrieved the Fayt Armor in the second game. The best time to get it is when you re-join the knights, then go to ridely's room quickly!

You need to choose the Human Side. Then go to Ridley's Room at night when you're allowed entrance to the Castle.
