Also I think Captain Jack is a good guy. He is no pedophile. Nor is he a loser. Kevin is a judgemental prick. Mind you I understand him looking out for his brother but Captain Jack is true gentleman in my opinion.

To be honest though the Camdens are not helping much. They stalk and judge Mary and her decisions with impunity and without forethought. The one time for once Mary shows her old, independent, though a little too rash self they try to put her down and act self righteous. Even if Mary is still immature she is at least doing herself a favor and leaving this bunch of morons.
