Water bottle-rocket with parachute

How did you get the parachute to work? And what was it made ou of? Did you make the rocket or buy it? I would like to know today because tomorrow i am making a bottle rocket that has an egg on it and we need to make it so the egg wont crack. And i like what you did in this video but instead of having the egg by itself wrapped up we are going to put cotton balls in it.

@quick3st Our egg was broken.. So good luck ;) The parachute was made of fabric used for umbrella's. Dont't forget to put a tiny little hole on the top of the parachute, otherwise it will swingle too much.

how did you make the parachute i made a perfect launcher but i cant get a good parachute for it ? 5/5 good job

I guess was the hardest part of the hole project. A couple of bottles weren't able to survive this adventure.

You should search on Wikipedia for Water Rocket.

"How to Fold a Model Rocket Parachute" also can be a huge inspiration.

Het viel uiteindelijk wel mee hoeveel werk we ervan gehad hebben. Op genoeg sites staat hoe je een fles kan lanceren, als je er een tweede gedeelte van een fles, met een parachute er in gevouwen en een gewichtje tussen beide is het vrij makkelijk te doen. Denk er wel om dat onze parachute natuurlijk geen kapotte paraplu kon zijn(dan was het te simpel), maar in principe werkt dat beter dan zelf naaien.
