@jumeau Actually I don't really know many like him, I know a couple of people but they lack motivation to make themselves known. It's not just a glorification it's the words that he chooses and the depth of his music. He's an intellectual he thinks deeper then most people and gets your head turning. There are a lot of creatives I agree but there is a shallowness to the creativity that they have. He inspires me, his mind is beautiful which makes him a beautiful person.

Good god, if more people thought the way that Maynard did, the world would be such a better, more intelligent place. So philosophical, so persuasive. I can see why Tool has (and this is also something to be thankful for) never really hit the big time/ major mainstream is because most people are too bland and short-minded to interpret all of Tool's music as nothing but straightforward; such as "Stinkfist" being about fisting. I used to think Tool was stoner music, but it really opened my eyes.
