How is the delay/response on the Harmony 890 Remote after pressing buttons?

It doesn't seem like there is one, but I can't be too sure.

Thanks for the advice on the amp. To compliment my Onkyo NR5007 I received the Emotiva XPA-3 today, and I have ordered the XPA-2 as well. I'm going to have my Polk RTI9's hooked up to the XPA-2. The XPA-3 will drive my pok center and two of my FXIA6's. My NR5007 will get off easy, and only have to drive the other 2 FXIA6.s. My two Polk Micropro 400's are already powered.

Question for you. I see you are using an Emotiva power amp, even though you already have a high end receiver. My home theater is under construction now, but I have bought all new equitment. I bought the new Flagship Onkyo receiver, the NR5007. I happen to have an Integra M504 Power Amp as well. Would you say I would be better off using the M504 which is 165 watts per channel, versus my NR5007 which is 145 watts per channel?

@golfing22002 Absolutely--hook up the integra amp to the onkyo receiver! the amp will guve you 165w of true power RMS.....receivers don't advertise wattage accurately. They can't drive all channels at the advertised wattage at al times.  definitely add the M504 to the NR5007 for a mind-blowing experience!!!

Just ordered a new in the box 890 over the 1100. Like the smaller size. Sounds like you like yours. My equitment will be in separate spot, so hopefully the RF expander will work well.

@tea4temecula hey, I don't control the computer with the remote--just the PS3, xbox 360, and all other devises. BUT, newer windows machines come with ir ports built in (one of my laptops has this function)

Nice setup. I prefer to have my center channel and front speakers on the same wall as my display firing forward, but its all just personal preference I guess. Very Professional you just sold me on the 890. Harmony needs to give you a lead credit. Thanks for all the good info regarding the remote.

Nice setup dude... 1 question. On the xbox360 or the PS3 for that matter, how do you control the mouse pointer with the harmony when you're in the webbrowser ?

Loving the set-up bruh. Still debating between that remote, the Harmony One or the Harmony 1100. I like the RF functionality tho so leaning towards the 890.

Gonna check your home theater now lol. If i ever get back on LIVE Gold i'll shoot a FR. Holla.

Hey thanks man, the 1100 has RF functionality as well!! It's a touch decision....if you want the WOW factor, go with the 1100. If you want to sit back and relax while controlling everything with one hand, get the 890. You can't go wrong with either!

Yeah, it can def. control the hd-dvd add-on. I have th eadd on, but ever since i replace all my hd-dvd's with Blu-Rays (after Warner ended the format war...bastards), it's been in a closet. But it does control it though.

Yeah, the feed is wired up the media closet wall, into the ceiling, and down the wall with the tv hanging on it. It took alot of sweat and scratches to get this setup wired! My attic is unfinished!! Lol.

I love the 360 as a gaming platform, the PS3 as a blu Ray platform....as far as the cost goes, I'd gave to sit down and really think about it...but as a basic idea....
