The old "Say, didn't you USED to be that guy...?" has GOT to be every actor's worst nightmare..."I not only WAS, but I will FOREVER be...NORMAN BATES!" I <3 Anthony Perkins and miss what he*could have done* in the past 20 years...
His first female encounter was Victoria Priciple - that's who he lost his virginity to. I find that interestng , since Andy Gibbs killed himself over her. She must be one hot chick, huh?
I don't believe anyone is bisexual. You are either this or that. I'm sure Perkins was gay - but played the so called bisexual game out of pressure. Makes no difference to me one way or the other. He did not get the credit due him or reach his full potential.
How the fuck do you know? If Victoria Principal slept with him then he must have been something.
His marriage was not a sham. He and Berry remained married until his death and have children and grandchildren together. She was straight and loved him. She had a boyfriend with whom she opened a bar, then was killed in the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
he died of HIV (which he could have gotten from a female but i wouldnt be surprised if he got it from a male). i heard he went to someone for help about being gay.
FAGGY FAGGY FAGGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FILTH AND SCUM DRINKING A BOTTLE OF RUM HE AINT A chum hes a faggot bum if only he knew i think he's also a JEW he likes men and rum rabba rabba boom bah now he is dead cause of gayness disease if you please rabba rabba boom bah good day
I think he hit the nail right on the head--the reason Psycho terrifies is because it's not supernatural. That stuff never scared me--PSYCHO did. Scared me shitless. Not the shower scene--just the character in general.
Ive not seen an actor since quite play that character type he played, the rather quiet unassuming almost sensitive young man from the woodwork with the most complicated yet basic of turmoils and self inspired demons, a mere conflict with, what could be deeper, his mother ... (haha). the analysis that could never end. my mother (ahem) saw him on a tv play in the '50s playing a dishwasher (a troubled one, of course) and wrote his name down on a calendar because she was impressed...anthony perkins

He was bisexual. Until he was in his thirties he only had relationships with men. Then he met his future wife and fell in love with her.
