I had forgotten about this song! I received the album, "In Care of The Blues" by Patsy, when I was 13. it was lost over the years and I never re-purchased it. Always loved the album, and wore it out. Glad you posted this one. Patsy could sing anything!
I generally HATE country music as a genre! Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn are the exceptions to ALL rules... God bless Patsy Cline and may she be shared with gerations to come!
You´re so right - there will never be another Patsy. Her voice - WOW! Maybe I´m the only one to notice another side of her: she sang the most beautiful spoken English you´ll ever hear. Patsy´s recordings should be used for teaching English pronounciation, not just to foreigners! Where on earth did she learn to talk - Winchester WVa?
One of her earlier recordings, it stands on it's own merits - as does Patsy. In a time when they didn't have all the technical machinery that makes just about anyone sound good, she sounded great. Nobody will ever match her.
Patsy would have made many more rocking songs like this true diamond, but her producers wouldn´t let her...they were convinced softer crossover country sold better. How sad!

I thought, early on, that Leanne might replace Ms. Patsy. Didn't happen to happen, though Leanne is still far above average. Let The Teardrops Fall was quintessential Patsy. Way under appreciated.
I probably say it alot I'm just barley 18, but I love the old country stuff. I recently first heard this Patsy song on a 3 Cd collection of Country Classics. But anyways Patsy is amazing
@idoltyler06 I'm 19 and I've loved old country since I was about 16...... there are more young fans than you know of, classic country is great, and Patsy is the best :-)
Don't you love this song, one of the few times we get to hear Patsy really rock out, and really let you hear what she can do with that perfect voice :-)

@LaaksonLilja Yes, it is a shame. The rockabilly sound is great, and Patsy could have done so much with it and for it.

Truly great! I've always loved Patsy Cline. She's one of th great American singers. Her tragic death was a major loss for all of us.
