  • I braught myself here, no one else.

  • Anathema brought me here. I love their cover.

  • Whether they know it or not, damn near every modern band owes something in some way to Bad Religion for blazing such a trail as they did.

  • I have no idea why it took me until now to legitimately get into this band when I've known about them since 5th or 6th grade.

  • Greg's a genius

  • Don't take this away since there's something to miss; an awesome Bad Religion song

  • Worlds greatest band

  • Another great song from th

  • I'm here because of Anathema. Awesome cover they did.

  • How could I know that you'de disaprove ?

  • I'm sorry- I'm not the model Human being. I'm sorry- I'm not the model Creature.

  • Thanx for the upload u rock

  • FUCK YEAH

  • this was my first band in a big concert and it was so amazing I was in the pit and up front the hole time, I still cat hear to good.... and that is great...because the bruises did not last.

but now at least my tattoo will even when i am dead

  • By far the best song on Stranger Than Fiction.

  • I am sorry that 36 will BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I miss Tony Hawk's games :(. Still This Song ROCKSS!!!

  • tragico y alucinante!

  • best punk band in the world

  • @hulio932 I'm gonna have to challenge you on that. The Ramones.

  • @thesoulthatburns The ramones are good but i still like Bad religion more because their lyrics are more better

  • @hulio932 defiantly one of the best that's for sure.

  • why are people talkin about bieber?

  • strike anywhere is the best, but bad religion is just as good in other ways, words dont explain how the art differs, its still the same, it does its job, the people benefit.. and most can agree and issues therein peace thanks for the vid

  • Love bad religion still one of the best punk bands ever!!!!!

  • A friend of mine sings in a band.. I was talking to their bass player, trying to explain to him how I like bass to sound. In the end, all I could do was tell him to listen to the bass groove in the chorus of this song.

  • Greatest fucking band EVER.

  • This is an awesome song, but I'm not sure why you'd choose it as a tribute to the Beatles. =)

  • @Peteness05 >opinions opinions opinions

Well in my opinion The Beatles are overrated, independently on how you judge their quality.

  • Quality aside, they invented a ton of musical techniques and styles which are still used all over today. Most good bands owe something to the Beatles, so it's hard to say they're over rated. It's perfectly acceptable to say you don't like them, as they are an older sound most people don't bother with anymore, but it's hard not to respect the huge contribution they made to music as a whole. Bad Religion is awesome, but didn't invent any new type of music.

  • @Peteness05 Did I say anything about Bad Religion? Yeah, I can't say they revolutionized anything, they just did it flawlessly.

But for me Beatlemania = Bieber Fever. How much you sold doesn't mean anything to me.

With your logic, The Beatles also owe much to previous musicians that are rarely credited. That for me is overrated.

  • @bf2lover42 No, dude the Beatles were the FIRST to do a bunch of stuff. That means they get the credit, not the people who DIDN'T do it before them. Comparing Justin Beiber to the Beatles only proves to me you're either a moron who has NEVER in their life done even five minutes of looking into the history of music, or just a stupid fucking troll. For your sake I'll assume the later, and just say fuck off and die, you god damned troll. ffs, stop being so stupid.

  • @Peteness05 Okay, you just used the word "troll" and tried to pass it as a real argument?

Also, where did I say that the Beatles were like Bieber? Copy paste that shit here, I dare you. That's right, I didn't say it, faggot.

And no, they were not the first band in the universe. Music had been composed and performed since mankind could knock bones against hard surfaces.

  • @bf2lover42 And you know, for the record. Faggot isn't a very good word to use. I'm not gay, but I've got no problem with other men sleeping with men. Why don't you take your hate and your trolling and go drive off a bridge somewhere?

  • @Peteness05 Faggot doesn't mean "gay" in the internet. That's why there are Eurofags, Americunts, codfags, slavshit etc.

Black people turned the word "nigger" into something they can say. Can't other people of all races do the same? FYI I might be bi so your logic fails there, bro.

  • @Peteness05 dumbass

  • @kylegraves666 If you're going to insult people's intelligence, you may want to learn how to properly wield the English language.

  • @Peteness05 cool story

  • @kylegraves666 Nice recycled comment. Got anything original to add? Btw, that was a retort, not a story. You really don't understand language very well.

  • where can i find a live cover of this???

  • i love this bass line!!!!

  • yep, ooohs and aaahs by ME, saw these guys in the day, at a beach venue(selina's)lol, they were worth the wait, bunch of nice cali dudes for real, they asked for requests, played tracks across alot of thier discography, best rockshow ever

  • So I'm just getting into Bad Religion, does anyone have any suggestions for which albums of their's I should get first?

  • @jonjb4

    All of them?

  • @AFCAapp3l I ended up getting How Could Hell Be Any Worse?, Recipefor Hate and Suffer, but that's if you still care

  • @jonjb4 My suggestion is that you don't ask questions.

Just take whatever you can get, and pick the first song that has an eye catching title.

I've done that with every band I like and have not regretted it.

The mystery is a lot of the fun here. :)

  • @jonjb4 Might want to try their compilation All Ages...it covers their career from 1982-1992

  • did you know tress grow under water too?

  • my fav song on stranger then fiction , when i was a kid i thought it was not punk , compared to no fun at all and unwritten law , but its so such a good album , all killer no filler !

  • a smile on the lips and a hole in the head.

  • This One.

  • I'm Listening To BR For About 15 Years.

Now I'm Beginning To Understand These Lyrics.

    Bone-Chilling I Say.

  • @Gman15765 Yah, I've think they've managed to tap into the collective unconscious pretty deep.

  • What to say? 30 dislikes to 1134 likes there must be 30 complete fuck sticks out there. i hope your heads stay up ya ass forever. or quote ' better off dead '.

  • @jaraha101 Then i will "dislike" this video to make you feel better about yourself. tool. GO BAD RELIGION!!

  • Thumpin good tune

  • the people who dislike this song are better offf dead

  • thx for uppin / hell yea/ lov' n it

  • These guys were around a long time before I was old enough to like them. Let me just say, that I saw these guys in concert and they absolutely play a good show. The drummer looked like he was about to fall over and die from being so tired but they kept up and did a damn encore. They absolutely rock it live.

  • For awhile, I though the lyric was "The next time I create the uterus."

  • greg graffin is a genius

  • Very nice song to play on bass!!!

  • @Lordoftheflies234 The chorus is just TOO awesome

  • Lol this is too funny!

  • this version is ok, but i really like anathemas version

  • @lambg12 hey fucker stop being a prick and leave us alone

  • That bass groove during the chorus..

  • @Chromodar yeah someone else who noticed it^^

  • Bad Religion will ALWAYS be the best punk rock band ever.

  • @trecoolification just make that best band ever

  • @trecoolification There shall not be best or worse punk rock bands. There should be PUNK ROCK.

  • Fuck you!

  • Dear restaurant customers, Testicles, That is all.

  • @birdyboy12 Oddly, I have no questions.

  • @SlyzCooper That is because family guy is cool... :)

  • 07.07.2011 they are playing at the EXIT festival,Novi Sad,Serbia,oh yeah ;)

  • 25 people oughta try pushin daisies instead

  • Who is the leader/owner of Bad Religion? I know it may be a silly question, but I have someone that asked me & I dont know.1 of those things that bugs a person, like gene & paul own Kiss.Who owns BR?

  • @SmokinMo11

Owners? They aren't slaves you know.

There are six members and they operate as a one-man/one-vote democracy.

  • Bad Religion is my favorite band

  • bacan el tema

  • American punk band are all fukkin boring.... you just cant get Punk

  • @jnkacme But Americans invented punk...

  • @heroiniskindacool actually british and american people invented punk because the first punk bands ever were the ramones, the sex pistols and a few other bands

  • @TheKaman633 Actually, the first punk band was New York Dolls.

And ramones was formed before sex pistols.

  • @heroiniskindacool LOL????

  • k@heroiniskindacool ys i agree...the stooges, mc5 and many others already had a punk sound years before sex pistols came on the scene

  • what i tke from this song is this, it may not be what they ment but its my opinion, i can please everyone so if you dont like it fuck you let me keep my opinion and if u want sumthen to change do sumthen about it

  • @Algood421 You know what, I believe in God, but I believe in logic. I'm not the only one either. In short, shut the fuck up, and know what your talking about before you type.

  • like i just cant like this im sorry..

  • @seanyeweed It's ok, just go listen to your own music and don't come back.

  • rise against? are u kidding? decent band but not worthy of cleaning Greg's mic.

  • A band without equal.

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r Bad Religion will be playing shows long after Rise Against is gone and forgotten. Bad Religion doesn't headline tours because Greg Graffin is a college professor with a PhD... he has other things to do besides play shows.

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r

From being a fan I can offer that Bad Religion opens when A: Some show needs their help (eh hem Blink in Dayton in... 2000? I believe) or B: They just want to play. BR is known for enjoying the intimacy of small venues, why would it be an issue to play first and get the hell outta dodge before... Rise ! Against?)

If there were more reasons would it matter? They are the best show I've seen live in 14yrs of going to concerts. I've seen them 6 times, missed them twice.

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r Seriously? are you fifteen, living in moms basement? Children that dont know anything about real punk rock should keep their ignorance to themselves. Do emo babies wear black diapers?

  • @OnlySinner U mad bro?

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r No, but one needs to consider the two decades of influence these guys had on more modern groups. Musically, politically, even spiritually to some extent. To dismiss that, is like spitting in the face of the founding fathers, it's just universally understood.

  • @OnlySinner is being 15 an insult, i dont think any 15 yr olds live in mothers basement

  • @forkman22222 No, it's just weird that they're on nearing-50 year olds vids

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r

Really? That's a funny assertion considering that, when I saw RA open for BR a few years ago, Tim from RA said at the end of their set that "none of this" would have been possible without BRs influence.

Don't mistake BR's humility and willingness to support their friends as some kind of subordination.

  • @0neL4s7H0n0r Maybe you could tell me why Three Days Grace opened for Nickelback durin their Dark Horse tour ? If your logic applies, then Nickelback is better than Three Days Grace....... and that's just wrong, plain and simple.

  • how is it even possible? 23 deslikes!? to Bad Religion, what the fuck is wrong with you people?

  • Oh the controversy!

  • This song has some religious undertones, but it is basically about not fucking bitching constantly about everything! We bitch day in and day out about completely irrealivant bullshit. Fuck all the dumbshit and just fucking LIVE. Be happy with what you have, after all you could be dead...

  • oNE OF their best fuckin songs right here u fuckers

  • To all of the idiots arguing on this video, then I'm sorry about the sun.

How could I know that you would burn?

-And, I'm sorry about the moon... how could I know that you'd disapprove?

And I'll never make, the same mistake, the next time I create the universe

I'll make sure we communicate at length.... in order for your views to actually seem somewhat relevant.

Until that time, fucking shut up and just enjoy this great song.

BR is about being in this together, not arguing about irrelevant BS.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge HURR DURR PEOPLE ARGUING BOTHERS ME.

    Fuck you.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge Actually, BR seems all about coming up with your own ideas, and not bending when other people try to tell you you're wrong. Conformity and happiness is not their message.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge Yah, I think its amazing that there's something rather than nothing. Wouldn't it be boring if reality just stayed one thing for eternity? People should just shut up and enjoy the ride.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge ......God?

  • A melhor BANDA de todos os tempos A MELHOR

  • Some people lose their shit and give atheists a bad name. Some people lose their shit and give religious people a bad name. Seems like there's jerks in every tribe. Now hush and be appreciative of the music.

  • 36yr old punk rock kid these were the times !!!!! Thumbs up if agreed....Bad Religion one of the best punk bands ever !!!! 1 2

  • Just because something sells doesnt mean it's a good influence or helpful to the world. Justin beiber sells millions of records, does that make him a musical talent? No, just a result of proper marketing. Same rule applies to the bible. They believed the earth was the center of the universe for godsakes! And yes, I used Your spaghetti monsters name in vain. JESUS CHRIST YOU'RE A FOOL! Always the christians/religious who have a problem with logic and truth. How do you stomach that shit?

  • where a great song where a beautifull day is 11h in portugal

  • every time you and the one you love are at odds over any given issue, just play this song and hold hands; its a solver

  • im a huge bad religion fan

  • @hugebadreligionfan I never would have guessed.

  • @RomeoCo that was good lol

  • WHEM I DIE I WHANT BAD RELIGION MUSICS IN MI FUNERAL REMENBER MI YOUTH IM ONLI 34

  • EU VENERO BAD RELIGION AMO ESTE SOM GRANDE SOM GRANDES LETRAS GRANDES VERDADES QUANDO VEM A PORTUGAL ? JA TIVERAM EM ESPANHA NUM CONCURSO DE SKATE TAVA PA IR VELOS ARREPENDI ME MUITO ATE HOJE BEIJOS PARA TODOS OS FANS

  • This song is basically written from the perspective of God apologizing to people that the world is hard to live in; there is nothing anti-Christian about it.

  • Right the thing is a band like Bad Religion has interesting lyrics for christians as well as atheist. Becuase he says stuff that is both right and wrong at the same time. Political, social and religeous comments. I am rarely offended by the lyrics even though they might be sarcastic they are not purely to offend but to make you think. And let's face it religion is bad, spirituality not though wich is what I believe in as a believer in God.

  • @royalsteven Religion is no worse than government. Both are just different ways to keep 1 million idiots in line, and keep them from killing each other. It's humanity that is bad, and by proxy humanities creations. I.E. religion, and government, and law and so called "order". Religion is just a scapegoat. Besides, some religions are quite nice. Tell me what's wrong with Discordianism? Hail Eris.

  • Right, it is the people that abuse religion so in essence there is nothing wrong with it. Religion has gotten a bad name because of the abuse over the centuries. People make the mistake blaming God for the wrong and not man. Take responsibility for your own actions. And yes there are many peacefull religious people wether it be christians, buddhists or muslims.

  • @royalsteven No, its religion's fault for spreading an epidemic lie which confuses the unenlightened into submission. Religion got the name it deserves. It's killed more people than anything else, PERIOD. And being a peaceful religious person just means you're too weak to be a peaceful atheist or agnostic. You need a code from a book 2000 years old to live properly. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? Morality is shown by FUCKING CHIMPANZEES, but you need a religion to know how to do that???

  • I am a humble person, I try not to be egoïstical or be pridefull. I acknowledge a Creator made me and takes care of me. I try not to worship the ego or materialism. I know this life is more than work, partying, materialism and denying everything. It takes faith, will and power to put your ego aside and let God lead you. I hope one day you will too :)

  • And that book is the best sold and read book ever. The most wise and fascinating book ever. It gives all guidelines how to live and how to act in a good way. If you live your life according to the bible you will be ok.

  • @Algoody421 Wow, dude, you're a fucking moron. Why don't you just chill out, and stop spreading your hate filled ignorance?

  • i believe in god but i still love this band. its amazing music. i still listen to leftover crack and choking victim. an still believe in god. its just fucking good music!

  • look at all the long winded arguments.

    good song.

  • @23mandraxam5 Ghandi was Relgious Hindu - MLK was a religious Christian. Mao was an athiest. The idea that athiesm produces good people is silly. Do you really think that religious people who have done bad things in life would have only done good if they were athiests? If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn...

  • @smileyjonez Bill Gates, Sir Salman Rushdie, Warren Buffett, Isaac Asimov, Albert Camus, Bertrand Russell, Charlie Chaplin, Bruce Lee, Sir Ian McKellan, Ronald Reagan's son, Gene Wilder, all atheists. Shall I go on?

There are good people in both camps. For every evil atheist you can name, I can name an evil religious person. Maybe people are just good or bad no matter what, because we all have a moral compass inside, but for some of us, it's broken.

  • @yablebab I completely agree with you, 100%. Maybe it didn't read that way, but that was my point... So many people on here would like to blame all the worlds ills on religion... The truth is, believers and non-believers a like have pretty poor track record when it comes to spreading misery.

  • @smileyjonez Could you post a bigger bs false equivalency?

  • @EvanWilding Since I have no idea what you're talking about - probably not. Maybe provide a better explanation of your thoughts instead of just a snarky drive by comment.

  • @smileyjonez I think what he's trying to say is Religious folks have dealt 99% of the shit to the world, and believers have done 1%. Your theory that non-believes are on par with even death dealing through out history is completely incorrect.

  • @meowsthi you are factually incorrect. 100 Million + poeple killed by communism. 40 Million by the Japanese. Countless millions still being killed in North Korea and China. These are all totalitarian Athiest governments. The Crusades caused the death of about 30,000, the inquisition was about 3-5,000. Hitler was an Athiest who believed in Social Darwanism. Athiesm doesn't make you tolerant - believing in tolerance makes you tolerant.

  • Sure, dude, I'm just gonna believe you didn't pull those numbers out of your ass, with the rest of your so called facts. I'm also going to believe that somehow, theres an athiest coalition out there killing people, trying desperatly to catch up with the theists. And for the record, dumbass, I said religious people kill. I didn't say people dying for religious reason. I said religious people that killed. PLENTY of Hitler's troops were highly religious. Now, lets shift our view away from..>

  • @meowsthi <.. modern wars, and look at the litteraly millions of natives slaughtered by the catholic church when they arrived in this country. Lets look at the genocide there, which wiped out a THRIVING population of other spiritual types. Lets not pretend the only thing the church ever did wrong was kill Muslims. Are we allowed to count the untold deaths in the dark ages against the religious folks, or the church's refusal to allow medicinal gowth? I mean really can we count ALL the people?

  • @smileyjonez Those were directied towards you, by the way. Feel free to admit I'm right, and go crawl back under your rock.
