However, an exception to this is DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) stating the US gov't only recognizes the marriage of one man/one woman - a tenet which has no substantive basis except within the construct of religion and violates citizen's rights.

The only religion I would like to see not practiced in America. Is radical Islam. The Constitution would support this. There is a clause in the freedom of religion that forbids human sacrifice to be practice. Well radical Islam calls for a human sacrifice to gain slavation and is pleasing to Allah. While I fully agree with your ideas, could I correct one thing I have heard in your videos, which may seem petty, but I think it is important. The bill of rights 'protects' our natural, or god-given rights. Thinking that the BoR gives us these rights makes it easier to understand that those rights can be taken back.
I see it as giving voice to the idea that these rights are natural to all humans, and government cannot take them away.

The Declaration of Independance states that we are endowed by our creator certain inalienable rights. Thank you for what you do. I believe that you are right in that one of the most important things about the founding of this great country is the freedom of belief or faith (what most call religion). I am not an atheist but simply believe that God (for lack of a better word) is way to great to comprehend. However, I see the value in the morality that faith provides for some people, and if I see you on the side of the road I will stop to help you regardless of faith/denomination as well.

Freedom of speech goes both ways. No one has the right not to be not offended. I think people have the right to believe whatever they believe, but people have the right to think it is ridiculous and to say so.
Freedom of Religion doesn't mean you have to belong to a mainstream, regimented religion. Most of the pilgrims believed in God, but didn't believe in the Church of England. Life is all about finding out who you are and your own answers for the "meaning of life." Everyone should be able to do this, be it a formal religion, reading the Bible at home with your family, or walking in the woods; and do so without others oppressing them or belittling their beliefs.

Sadly our government, and our country is not what it was when the founding fathers created our bill of rights. lol... religion was not what founded our country... our founding fathers were deists at best. In fact many of them hinted that the clergy would be the downfall of liberty. Now you really should address religion and the belief in god separately. There are many people who claim a relationship with god and don't adhere to the tenants of a religion. The only religion I would like to see not practiced in America. Is radical Islam. The Constitution would support this. There is a clause in the freedom of religion that forbids human sacrifice to be practice. Well radical Islam calls for a human sacrifice to gain slavation and is pleasing to Allah. While I fully agree with your ideas, could I correct one thing I have heard in your videos, which may seem petty, but I think it is important. The bill of rights 'protects' our natural, or god-given rights. Thinking that the BoR gives us these rights makes it easier to understand that those rights can be taken back.
I see it as giving voice to the idea that these rights are natural to all humans, and government cannot take them away.

The Declaration of Independance states that we are endowed by our creator certain inalienable rights. So its almost by default that the same people who don't believe in a higher power also wouldn't believe in the rights that higher power has given us. Just food for thought. Thank you for what you do. I believe that you are right in that one of the most important things about the founding of this great country is the freedom of belief or faith (what most call religion). I am not an atheist but simply believe that God (for lack of a better word) is way to great to comprehend. However, I see the value in the morality that faith provides for some people, and if I see you on the side of the road I will stop to help you regardless of faith/denomination as well.

There are too many things that happen today in society that could be prevented by a all knowing,all powerful ,omnipotent,omnipresent being that is suppose to look after us.Haiti earthquake killed over 230,000 people, a lot of innocent children and babies.Parents are killed, and children are left homeless, now there is a problem with kidnappers using them as sex slaves.This should be prevented if there was a god.These natural disasters have been going on a long time, before any gods were made up.

Freedom of Religion doesn't mean you have to belong to a mainstream, regimented religion. Most of the pilgrims believed in God, but didn't believe in the Church of England. Life is all about finding out who you are and your own answers for the "meaning of life." Everyone should be able to do this, be it a formal religion, reading the Bible at home with your family, or walking in the woods; and do so without others oppressing them or belittling their beliefs.

How do you seguay from that into "walking in the woods?"Freedom of religion was intended by the founders to advance Christainity without creating a state sponsored church. We have deluded it so much that it is no where near what they had intended it to be, one great example is they did not want career politicians, yet we have them. Many of them. And unfortunately, so long as you're a relatively public YouTube figure, you're going to have people who will always have a need to make themselves feel more comfortable with their supression of the truth (i.e. delusion) that God doesn't exist. I dont believe in God. I blasphemy all the time, But I still respect their believes . Its there choice, i made mine. Lots of these "patriots'' think that America is a Christian nation which is not, and if your not a christian they think your a Devil worshiper ect... they forget what the constitution really says. I wouldnt mind taking a bullet for a fellow patriot who is a christian. That would be the right thing to do, help others not only help those who preach the same thing as you.

SafeArmsReview: Freedom of religion means not choosing someone else's religion.... but choosing your own... freely.. it's not hard folks.. ....I prolly don't worship the way our friend here does.... but I will fight for his right to worship any way he wants... or not worship at all.... or whatever..... it's an individual call...at least it is hear in the United States... basically we have to start asking more questions and most of all assert all of our constitutional rights, plain and simple.
safearmsreview I am not religious but I absolutely believe in the freedom of religion and I'll help any good religious person without a second thought.
many of these "patriots" are fake.
the agenda is to destroy religion and I can see christianity being attacked non stop in the USA. we are ALL supposed to be free citizens and we should stick together 100%

Steve, the same thing happens to me because of my love for Jesus. I even had a guy say that my daughter was a "retard" because she has cerebral palsy. It's really sad that people would stoop to such a low and immature level. Always remember, that when you are being attacked for His name, you are going to be blessed by Him!

The funny thing is its pretty much only Christians who really understand whats occuring in the world and why its happening. Athiests have been brainwashed into believing there is no God. The falling away from the church is happening in a big way, right on schedule.

The way some of them seem to think is that people that live like you are causing society not to progress because they believe you're wrong and wasting time, resources, etc. And personally I'm all for someone giving me advice expecially if they can back it up, but some people out there need to take it easy. They shouldn't be attacking you or expecially your family.
