I do think they play better than nuttin but stringz. BUT one thing that I noticed is that although both groups use violins, black violin leans closer to the hip hop side of their classical and hip hop concoctions while Nuttin but stringz lean toward the more classical compositions. Both are really good but I think Black violin beats are WAY more gangsta which I like. Both are awesome!!!!!!!!!!

these guy's have a different style than Nuttin but Stringz,. Stringz focuses on the violins more and keeps them at the front, while Black Violin keeps their violins in harmony with the beat and makes everything sound more at the same level. Stringz has more of a high note style while these guy have more of a mello orchestra sound to em. All and all I like both of them, they are innovators to a new age of music and I hope that the stones they are laying will be ones frequently traveled.
