  • A BUNCH DICKS !!!!!

  • No talent asshole

  • Yeah... this helps America look like a great civilized society. How are we different from chimpanzees again?

  • the biggest piece of trailer park trash walking gods green earth

  • Hank Jr, you ROCK. :-)

  • Excellent work. Consider singing more about your Southern Heritage and the Confederacy!

  • Yes, Barack Hussein Obama the Kenyan born socialist, half-white, half-black, Kenite infested usurper. And every single fagot that put you in the White House a once sacred building will burn in Hell and I will be in Paradise laughing my white butt off, ha ha ha ha.

  • He could've left the ludicrous thing out.

  • A legend for sure!!

  • this guy is a disgrace to his father

  • this was a cool rally, no niggers or tree huggers...

  • @meanlezbo

thanks for reinforcing the stereotype you scumbag. This is what I fought the war for in Iraq? To come back to MY COUNTRY to see this type of shit? this is why I risk my fucking life over in Iraq? My brothers out there and no, not "Brothas", but my brothers in arms would skull fuck you you fucking douchebag. Grow the fuck up. Time to unite as a whole, not individually. No matter, I never resort to racist shit like you do fuckhead.

  • @heat4yoass why would you want to fuck a guy..?

  • @meanlezbo hank williams jr does look like a racist...but people are just too sensitive when they make comments about the president of teh united states...who cares...politicians and world leaders are not special

  • i was there it was amazing.............. screw obama and all those who want to get rid of coal they say they want to make jobs yet there gonna take all the miners jobs not cool

  • @beavers9801 i went too... it was a great concert.. buecause of obamas niggerish ways, my dad come close to gettin laid of cuz "mining is destroying earth" just like the nuclear reactors destroying the ozone they wanted to put in... plus... if one of them blows, were just another chernobyl

  • Hank Williams is a drunk piece of shit sucking the Republican tit.

  • Hey Hank. I hope your old man is rolling over in his grave after seeing you hanging out with a bunch of redneck racist ass-holes. Besides, Willie Nelson kicks you and your fathers ass any day of the week.

  • @johnnybball fuck u

  • i guess it's true that talent skips a generation. poor jr. missed out on the juice that his daddy had. at least hank III can carry on the tradition.

  • I wonder if Hank is embarrassed that he did this shilling for Massey Coal and Blankenship.

  • whats the first song called ?

  • boy hank sure knows how to boogey!

  • Most people were there for Hank Williams Jr. and not for the the main issues. I was really sad that so many people don't care and just want to be entertained.

  • I wonder why that particular group doesnt like Barack Obama lol

  • @RastafariPoet: What do you mean by that? If you are talking about racism, he just talked about growing up around Fats Domino. If you are talking about his comment, "Don't tread on us." well then yes, I can see what "That particular group" doesn't like Obama either..lol

  • hey to all you tree huggers!! i LOVE how you will show up at mines where you can only be arrested for trespassing..where the hell were you at the rally when we could have finally gave you guys the ass whoopin you guys deserve? if youre so fucking dedicated..

  • Really?

You like to whip the asses of people expressing free speech? It's worse, and more ignorant than I thought.

Most of my family lives in WV still, some are miners, when the mines let them work.

No benefits either. He says that there are quite a few "imported" spansih speaking workers there now too..Is that true?

  • you have your right to free speech, but you just want us to hear your side, maybe some of you should have showed up to see exactly how many families are affected by you guys wanting to shut down our source of income..sure new ways will bring jobs too, but can you take the names of every single worker in the state that depends on coal one way or another, and promise they will have first call on the new jobs...no you cant, so yes, we will fight for our jobs!! its not ignorant..thank you.

  • ok..No ass whipping..and I apologize for the ignorance reference. though it was directed at no one in particular.

Let me state first that I am a conservative.

    (a Ron Paul supporter)

And I would love to be able to become an energy independent country. My beef is with the way Massey Energy tells such half truths. The job creation is short term, I'd love to see the residents of WV keep more of the money localized. Especially if there is a lot of environmental damage.

  • We need to end Mountain Top Removal. We also need to diversify the economy in the southern coalfields so displaced coal workers can find other jobs.

  • The argument that "living in the dark" is our only option regarding mountain top removal of coal, the devastation of a whole area, is a very tired, overused, and weak argument. Coal is going to run out. There needs to be a greater, more urgent emphasis on cleaner energy technologies. And I don't mean the myth of "clean coal." Coal is a dirty business...always has been; always will be.

  • shut your mouth dirty ass tree hugger

  • Comment removed

  • well those inbred coal mining dumbasses r the reason u have lights to turn on...and im sure u dont wanna live in the dark, so yeah ur pretty much the dumbass.

  • @WVGirl6370 my greatgrandfather was a west virginia coal miner and im danm proud of it

  • adadrol57: while I strongly oppose mountain top removal, i also strongly oppose ignorance in general which you have displayed by posting this comment.

  • WELL SAID Flux!

  • Yo FluxRostrum, Im really happy for Logan's Labor Day rally and Imma let you finish, but Racine had the best labor day rally of all time.

    OF ALL TIME!

  • I really wish I could have been in both places. I think the contrast would have been really eye opening.

  • what a joke. too bad they couldn't get III to do the show instead of Mr. Boogy Woogy

  • @oderushumungus ...yeah! If III was the headliner then no one would have showed up to see or hear cats in the dentist chair with no anesthesia. Oh...my bad. I mean III singing (yelping) out his classic tunes. Like um....and then theres um......I forgot about um.......Wait a minute.....III does not have any hits ever and he really sucks. Mr. Boogie Woogie though....couple hundred million records sold and nicknamed "The Platinum Boy who does the Rock and Roll Country Blues."

  • How disgusting.

Hank Williams Sr was a great man.

This Jr. is nothing but a "former" druggie and drunk - who has had no real success other than a football TV theme song (thus his fan base) - he sure has not problem dragging his father's name threw the mud.

  • I lived in Nashiville for 20 years and I can tell you from experience Hank Jr's reputation as an asshole is well deserved.

He can't sing worth a shit when he's drunk

  • To whom recorded this video I just wanted to say thanks for sharing it, the area is from my home town ..many thanks

  • well, if u dont like coalminers or this rally then stop lookin at the videos, u dumb tree huggers! and when ur sittin in the dark u will be callin us rednecks to fix the problem.

  • Who said anything about disliking coalminers? And why on earth shouldn't we watch these videos? How are we supposed to know what to agree or disagree with if we don't hear from both sides? Or is it best that we remain blissfully ignorant?

  • This was not a Friends of "America" rally, this was a Friends of "Big Coal Execs who don't give a shit about your land or jobs" rally. But since they paid all that money to put on this smoke screen.. er... I mean... "largest Labor Day Rally in the history of the United States" they must care about you. So, why then didn't they spend the money they wasted on this "rally" to fund research and development for clean coal mining, safer working conditions and environmental protection efforts.

  • Comment removed

  • Big Coal just wants it mined cheaper and faster. I don't want anyone to lose their jobs, I have family members who depend on the coal industry to feed their families, but there have to be better ways to mine coal, of course they cost more, so Mr. and Mrs. Massey might have to give up a trip to Belize or two and we can't have that. Frankly, I'm tired of seeing the mountains I call home destroyed by mountain top removal mining.

  • you people can say anything you want we depend on coal job to feed families and pay bills whent youre all sitting in the dark who will survive it the one you call red neck hillbillies. Because we can survive we had to fight all our lives to get by so dont say any thing about a culture you know nothing about

  • Hmmm you are white trash - we understand your options are limited - but my family found other ways to make money without ruining the environment. But beyond that your hatred of intellect is what makes you pathetic....

  • yeah well, id rather be white trash than a tree huggin hippie.

  • These supposedly derogatory names are not exclusive to each other. You can be both White Trash AND a Tree Huggin' Hippie.

    ... something to strive for.

Perosnally, I see nothing wrong with being either... or both.

  • i love white trash girls

  • this is how u act when u fuckin FALL OFF A MOUNTAIN and live

  • Mountain Top Removal destroys some of the oldest mountains and richest forest in the world and paid for this "Fiends of America" Rally.

    Save the Appalachian Mountains.

    Stop Mountain Top Removal.

  • This was a bunch of ignorant hicks gathering to support mountain top removal. Hank Jr., Nugent, and Hannity would not want to live on Coal River...the area being ruined by Massey Coal!

  • To say a black gathering was nothing more than a bunch of ignorant niggers, would be no more racist, or offensive than your comment.

  • Comment removed

  • Not talking about Black gatherings, or racism, but obviously this was a factor in attracting many who attended this thinly veiled gathering. Yet another stain on WV which is already the butt of disdain for most of the nation. Oh, and I grew up on Coal River.

  • I see these comments all over youtube. The ones that are one sided Left side Right side are all the same. The division of our political views are controlled by mainstream media. This heartless petty bickering between the American people must stop. Cant you see that WE THE PEOPLE are being divided for nothing more than to control us and keep us down! STOP THE FIGHTING PEOPLE!!! United we stand divided we fall. msnbc&fox news are using you to sell comercial air time and boost their ratings!!!

  • i was here and the people that showed up was amazing.. im so glad we have so many people behind us backing us up to save our coal mines!!!

  • Lord God. Dumb as a box of manly hairspray. With friends like this, America don't need no enemies...

  • Mountain Justice is not against mining coal underground. We are opposed to mountaintop removal mining.

"If they would end mountaintop removal today, there would be the biggest demand for manpower that has ever been seen in the state of West Virginia" - retired miner Jim Foster, Boone County WV

  • Why is Hank Jr. a racist? Because he voices his dislike for Obama? If that's the case, anyone who disapproved of George W. Bush must surely be a black supremacist.... That's a whole lot of Black Panthers out there....

  • Talks about "folks like us" then shows his WHITE face and hands (around 2:30 in video). "Ain't too many things my beautiful people can't do..." Subtle as a f*ckin steamroller!

  • What do you mean he shows his white face? He shows his face. Was he supposed to make his face another color?

  • You can't stand the fact that the majority of people in this country elected a black man, do you? Do us all a favor, put the gun in your mouth and pull the trigger.

  • @commieatheist i believe that voting for an AMERICAN would have been a smarter choice... its not cuz hes black.

  • Blankenship wraps himself in the flag and then bribes crooked superior court judges with a french riviera junket. He says corporations ship their jobs overseas. He wants to hire illegal immigrants. Get in bed with the Devil, get up without a soul.

  • Sooooo excatly what is your beef with this rally? People hate Don Blankenship however.... It did hit the nail on the head during his speach. He said America didn't LOOSE JOB'S..... we gave them away!!! You can look to China, India, ect. Just check the lable in the shirt your wearing!!! Now everyone is crying about being out of work. Obama is going to appoint enough Zars that we won't need Congress or the Senate!!

  • Jesse Ventura and Ron Paul - 2012!

  • I am 100% against this rally, and Hank Jr.'s politics are stupid. HOWEVER, he didn't do anything racist in this video. Also, did you hear him say he was raised people like Fats Domin and anyone who doesn't like Ludacris can kiss his ass? Hank listens to HipHop and is a big fan of Ludacris. That's a racist? Come one. Hank is just being a stupid republican. He railed against Gore and Kerry too. It's the democratic party that Hank hates, not blacks.

  • See the 'jazz hands' thing he does when he talks about 'my people'

That's a well-known racist gesture; based on an old minstrel show feature.

He might as well start singing 'Mammy, Mammy'

  • I grew up around lots of racists, and I've never seen anyone make such a gesture, so I don't believe it's a "well-known" racial gesture. It looks more like Hank was making a "vogue/look at me" face. Like I said, his politics are stupid. He's kind of stupid, in a way. But it's not fair to call him a racist. That's an unfair attack on his character, based on very poor evidence.

  • I agree. Definitely not a racist. However, I would venture to guess that most of the crowd had no idea who or what a Ludacris was/is.

  • He followed an anti-Obama comment with a gesture common in blackface skits. Yes, most of the racists I knew did not often do Al Jolson impressions, but they would have recognized it.

  • Just a KKKlan rally without the hoods.

  • You got that right! Embarassment to the country these hillbillies are-no wonder muchof the world writes us off as ignorant slobs.

  • And what's maddening is these people are really a minority, but media manipulation and protests organized by corporations and wealthy benefactors are trying to create the illusion that mass far right wing organized acts of dissent are grassroots campaigns, spontaneous and communal based and reflective of the majority of America, when that's just not true.

  • It seems like people who refuse to compromise with the quiet majority, and refuse to compromise with the president of the country are really the anti-Americans (not that that's a bad thing) but when you do that with the flag as your indisputable symbol of righteousness, "moronic hypocrisy" is the best way I can think to describe it.

  • Racist pig. No respect for racists. Indefensible position.

  • HWjr is RACIST

  • They were collecting signatures online at the website where you could request tickets. You didn't have to attend to sign the petition.

  • Can you skin a buck or run a trot line? If not you might want to brush up on it. Because a country boy can survive!

  • No, but I can hit a country boy at 100 yards! Bloody redneck fool.

  • If you could stand this Flux ; much respect to you:)Id have to be on a heavy dose of zannies and quaaludes...This tunage wasnt that bad...

  • it's hard to bite your lip all day. B sure to look at the other 2 from the day to really know.

  • I have, thanks for risking your mental health to bring this here:)

  • This concert was FN awsome.. I went there and i loved it.. Go hank

  • Enemies of Paradise Rally

The Coal Company came with the world's largest shovel. They tortured the timber and they stripped all the land. They dug for the coal till the land was forsaken. They wrote it all down as the progress of man. Paradise by John Prine

  • All so you could turn on your computer and lights.

  • What do you know about culture?

You don't know what freedom of speech is either.

  • Death throes of an old, hateful culture.

  • What city did this take place in?

  • it's called Holden, WV ... but I would not call it a city. It's more or less the site of a former strip mine in the middle of nowhere.

"They" say there 100,000 people here but there was never a wait for a porta john of a burger or a traffic jam... I'd say 20k would be a generous estimate.

  • Over 75,000 were counted at the entrance. 25,000 names signed the petition against the Cap and Trade so your figure is off.

  • your numbers are untrustworthy. The entire crowd could have easily fit on one side of Mountaineer Field with as many empty seats leftover as there were at the concert.

I've seen many crowds estimated at 10-30,000 people and a few estimated at 100k. I still think 20k is generous.

  • On what basis are my numbers untrustworthy? The fact that they collected over 20,000 signatures testifies that the crowd was larger than your estimation. All the news outlets report that it was 75,000. Your opinion contradicts the numbers on all the news outlets, even the ones who were against it. Don't let your opinion manipulate facts because it makes you seem foolish.

  • I've seen corporate media manipulate the numbers for marches and rallies for many years now. My estimate is based on the size of the crowd I saw and the numbers I'm used to seeing from the media regarding that size of a crowd.

You think Global Warming is a hoax, right? that makes you look foolish.

  • The fact that 20,000 signatures were on the list goes against what your saying. It's a fact. Your opinion can change but numbers don't lie. You can't lie about 50,000 people and not think people would notice. To think otherwise is a fantastic claim that is hardly believable.

And I don't mock you for questioning what any organization might say so don't mock me for questioning what you say or any scientist that advocates for extreme sanctions against the most eco-friendly nation in the world.

  • 20,000? That's a lot of "X's" to count!

  • Really. And nobody can sign three signatures?

    Wow.

  • Counted by whom?

  • jejeje funny, great showman...........
