  • This is one of my favourite matches ever!

  • i miss tha attitude era

  • That match was unbelievable. Angle and Shane are both great athletes for the effort they put into this match. That finish really was great. Angle Slam off the top, wow!

  • yeah that was a great match!!

  • Kurt and Shane are both insane. It's probably a good thing Shane never seriously pursued a wrestling career, had only a few matches, and knew when to get out.

  • There's more to this where Shane talks about seeing Marissa after the match.

  • I thought it was because they didn't use the right glass and not because of Angle's injury

  • The up most respect.......

  • Shane is presd of some media company?

  • @FernandoNINETorres And on the board of some big Sports Agentcy

  • This was also on the DVD of this PPV. Easily one of the best matches I have ever seen. Truly a show stealing showstopper unlike any other.

  • I wish that wrestlers talked about their matches like this. They should do this kind of show again on their new network.

  • Paul Heyman was a great announcer for that match, he sold everything perfectly!

  • 3:32 "I thought Shane might have been knocked out"

I always wondered where that had come from - as it was in the Don't Try This At Home clip b4 Raw

  • @DMaddox2010 same :D and "i think i broke my tailbone" at 6:47

    good times :D

  • I watched this live on PPV and I gotta say when Shane didn't go through that glass we ALL let out one huge "HOLY SHIT!!!!".

  • The music playing sounds so much like a Tangerine Dream score. lol

  • that was a great match just shows you both ppl don't have to be amazing wrestlers they just need to know how to perform and put on a match that ppl are going to care about

  • @musicalriotgrl1 You do realize that Kurt Angle being a gold medal winner wasn't storyline right...?

  • this interview is like a mixture of kayfabe and shoot

  • Where are these interviews from?

  • @jVtecProductions From the show WWF had back then called 'Confidential'.

  • @Rayla840 I really miss that show a lot. It was one of their better shows. They should bring it back if they really get that WWE network up and running.

  • Epic match.

  • @mistaD72 man you talk about epic

  • It's cool to hear both guys describe what they were feeling through the match

  • and people say "Wrestling is fake"... Awesome match, Awesome performances

  • Honestly one of the best matches I've ever seen! Both of them gave their all! Amazing considering Shane is not even a trained wrestler! Full respect to both of them for that match! Just wish I was there!

  • @MrTunglash I agree. Shane had like a month's worth of training. Just enough to get a feel in the ring, and not hurt anyone. He's not much of a "professional" but man, he had some balls. He's done some of the craziest stunts, and taken some of the craziest beatings, and watching him, and Kurt in this video talk about how much pain they went through just amazes me.

  • @jVtecProductions Shane was actually a good wrestler

  • @kryceksangel i agree, but matches like this you cant do years and years on, wrestling is bad enough for the body as it is, but this is madness

  • @Elfop1ccolo It also tones the intensity down if they happen frequently. I remember when Hell in a Cell or TLC matches were DANGEROUS!!!! You would get hyped up to see it and so on, now they are common place and really dont mean much anymore.

  • Shane and kurt are friggin monsters!!!
