I was in London on Friday with my Uncle. I was under a bridge at this British Film Institute place. There was loads of books being sold outside. Somebody came up to the BFI building in odd clothes. I can't remember what the clothes were like, but he had trousers which were a golden colour. They looked a bit like leopard skin, I think. He went into the building after chatting to a few people and my uncle told me 'That's Adam Ant'. Does anybody know if it really was Adam Ant?

Adam really could have been the Elvis Presley of the 1980s. He had the same talent and charisma. I never understood why he didn't record more songs like this one. It was more mainstream and less over the top than most of his other songs, and not surprisingly, the most popular.

Sadly Adam suffers from Bipolar Disorder, which pretty much curbed his career. Since everybody gets the disease in different strengths, I cannot know how bad he got it. But it halted his career, which is very sad.

He had tons of talent, storyboarded his own music vids, designed the costumes, and then wrote the songs also. I imagine the very genius that gave him that talent, also, sadly, gave him his problems too.

Adam and the Ants were great, he must have been a fuckin nightmare to live with if he was hypermanic and sufferd from bipolar disorder without takin medication! My sons mum has the same illnesses and she dosent take her madication either, thats why me and my son havent seen her in years, they ruin your life. I have heard Adam Ant admited to his illness a few years ago and now takes medication and is doing well. Good on him!
