For all of the negative comments on here you should live in a country where there arent cops to protect you. or where they dont care. This man was a very respected officer and was killed in the line of duty. He deserves every bit of respect and every car in that procession. My grandfather was just a respected man in the community and he had a procession that was 6 miles long and there were 7 sherifs in it. Every person who has contributed to society in a positive way deserves this when they die.

@hesellsmystuff Nothing is too excessive for the death of a deputy officer or any other human for that matter. I would gladly sacrifice money for ALL of these men to pay their respects to a fallen officer.

Officers pass away and it happens, and officers pay their respects. In these cases, officers from different towns/cities substitute for them.

All of these officers are not on duty at the same time so they would only need about 15-20 substitute officers to patrol.
