@ArchSWARM well, im no expert, but, i think it's because he used the night class and Zero just to help him (i'll try not to spoil things XD) aaaaaaaaand the fact most people want Zero to be with Yuki ^^' haha but, yeah, there's probably other reasons too, like according to other people's views, his 'smug' attitude towards others and how he thinks highly of himself (<--- not my opinion, those are other's ^^').

Personally, i don't dislike him, but, those are some of the reasons i thought of ^^'

@ArchSWARM i don't either. i'm not on either side. my guess is because probably people want to see the relationship between zero and yuuki work out and in their eyes kaname is just in the way. but that's just my guess. for me, i kind of lost focus of that and i'm more focused on how things are going to turn out with the plot. ( i'm reading the manga.)

Yes, I understand that he's had a sorrowful past but that doesn't mean he should continue making it worse. At least Zero is trying to do something to keep his mind off things and not acting how vampires are "supposed" to act. I don't know, maybe my argument about Zero doesn't make sense, but that's my opinion anyway.. I like Kaname a little bit, only cause of what he went through though...

@neoMushroom Well, Yuuki is a vampire, actually. And, unlike Twilight, vampires here are shown in another cool prospect - the aristocratic, mysterious, beautiful and deadly creatures. Not messy, sparkling masses of unwashed hair and bad mood. And white I practically worship Alucard, I can't agree that VK vampires are a bad example of the race. Not everyone can be as awesome as Alucard. Also, yes, Yuuki is a bit annyoing in the begging, but as a vampire, she's better.. so, yeah :D .
