  • the best spent 20 minutes! Shpongle is awesome. Psy ON

  • Sounds like Xena: Warrior Princess

  • Najlepszy trip na świecie...

  • I'm pretty sure it was made in 1996. When the saw a Solar Eclipse in India.

  • they are artists.. artists of music. Shpongle <3

  • what's the name of the instrument you hear a lot in their songs? is it a flute or something? i would really like to know and wow i love shpongle, i didn't know this song yet :)

  • @Ishaaaaaa1 flute by raja ram!

  • @Ishaaaaaa1 Raja Ram plays flute so quite possibly =)

  • Probably the definitive electronic track.

  • Man, the first time I listened to this song all the way through, 7:15, 8:46, and 11:29 blew my mind. The spaciousness of the mix is definitely a stark contrast to the super vibrant layers that newer shpongle has. This is on another level. Especially considering it was made in 1998.

  • amazing

  • Beautiful !

  • i always seem to daydream about my childhood and being worry free when i listen to shpongle

  • mother of god!

  • SPOILER ALERT sorta. Finish the song first.

At first I thought maybe he's falling asleep at an airport and it's a dream journey, then the ending. Too fucking brilliant. I love it.

  • @gltichydethklok So what are your conclusions now?

  • @gltichydethklok Its their first song, they made it after seeing a solar eclipse in India, this is them duplicate the experience.

  • itz india dude!!

  • im so tired after listening to this my mind was at the other side of the zorbunivers

  • this track calls for thc

  • Is that South Park in the background distorted sound in the intro? hahaha

  • yes

  • i feel like something else...

  • makes my body feel so enlightened

  • if you havent listened to this song really really really high (or preferably, TRIPPING), you haven't even begun to take the "trip". You aren't "Shpongled", as the titlle of this album (as an emulation of Hendrix's"Are You Experienced?" probably) asks. Sober shpongle just is not the same. Sure you can enjoy and Definitely appreciate the music, but you will not "go there" until you've gotten really really high on cannabis or tripped on shrooms/acid/mescaline with this whole album on headphones imo

  • @mikeisapro You are right 100%. People fool themselves when saying they don't need to listen while tripping to experience the full hyperspace ride that the albums can take you on. As a sound engineer I can say that Shpongle has nailed down the psychedelic writing and mixing technics that blow your mind when tripping. It gives it a talking dog affect. If you like rock, Tool's laterals is done IMPECCABLY!!

  • @toneage7 the album or the song? (tool's Lateralus)

  • @Liton777 Listening to the album in it's entirety is the way to go for the full effect and I believe was their intention however you'd be able to notice the magic listening to their songs individually.

  • @toneage7 Yeah, I do love that album, music like that takes me somewhere. I can't say I like one album more than the rest though, they're all so good, what ever album I'm listening to at the time is my favorite album lol. From lateraluz I really like parabol-parabola, sent me to a crazy place once.

  • @toneage7 omg first mushroom trip. i listened to Parabol going into Parabola. truly amazing

  • If I had the video making materials, the music video I would make involve: The hustle of city day life among humans. Then as the sun sets and the chorus starts, the night life begins to emerge. The footage I would use would be from various nature shows showing brilliant night life in many different types of earth environments. The stars would show, the moon would shine. As the song ends, the sun begins to rise, beggining the cycle of day and night all over again. Someone please make this.

  • @CrimnsonZ I think I'm onto that. I'd so make it. My work is often trippy anyhow.

  • Speaks to me like it was some kind of homogeneous language from deep within

  • Incredible song on a legendary album

  • can't get much better than this.. MASTERPIECE ♥

  • this album is one of my favorites..... fucking awesome

  • Such a beautiful journey

  • Holy crap.
