Great rendition and hybrid of video and gaming style JB titles. Clever idea the game using Golden Eye with a Daniel Craig version...I'd probably play that game for 3 hours straight everyday if I bought it :)

Many people seem to hate this game because Pierce Brosnan wasn't in it (even so, it WAS for a reason, and it doesn't bother me) and the fact that it's like Call of Duty with aiming down your sights and taking cover (aiming doesn't bother me either) but the only two main gripes I have with this game (single player cons, remember that) is the lack of the famous Gunbarrel sequence (just about every James Bond movie/game had this unless there were others that didn't) and that you need to take cover

@AScapeRunePlaya (cont.) thankfully, there is a 007 Classic Difficulty setting (and it's the way it SHOULD be played) but sadly, the other difficulties have you take cover. It should have Operative, Agent and 00 Agent with the style of 007 Classic save for the objective requirements, much like the N64 Version, and for the 007 Classic, if it really wanted it to be brutal, no checkpoints much like the original... Same thing with Time Trial but being able to pick a difficulty... Good game though!

@LastRambo341 EA was able to bring back Sean Connery for the video game version of From Russia with Love as in he voiced Bond in the game, I don't see how difficult it would've been for Activision to bring back Pierce Brosnan (and the rest of the cast of the movie) to reprise their role for Goldeneye remake. TBH, I thought if EA was the one remaking Goldeneye not Activision, they would've bring back Pierce to voice Bond for the game.

When I fist heard this play as I completed the first mission, I didn't even wait until the singing part started; I squealed like a total BITCH when the fricken' opening percussions cued up. Then I just went completely nuts during the whole rest of it. And, damn, Nicole, you did an outrageously awesome job on the song. I do think that Tina Turner would be very proud of you. I wonder if she has a Wii? XD

Basically, I saw the line as a way to reference that Bond "seemed" to jump without a bungie cord. I know it was implied but I remember finding it strange that he did so & assumed others (like the developers of this game) thought the same, for whatever reason. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, just seemed a cool coincidence to me...

@corneliab As a side note though, another reason it may not have been seen was because Rare originally had objectives for Bond to find the bungie cord himself, which involved using a boat to travel across the lake over to the "Lost Island". But it was cut after it was deemed 'too difficult' for the 1st level.

@Lianas1980 Ghostbusters looked great, just it had a comic-look, not tried to look realistic, because, in my opinion, Goldeneye looks really mediocre, like most games which try to look realistic on wii. Resident Evil 4, is on of the few example, how a game should look, even if its just a gamecube port.

Even if parts were better or snazzier for modern audiences, wouldn't that tick you off? GoldenEye for N64 is a classic game...this remake is an insult to everything it was.

I'm a big fan of the N64 GE but this one is great too, not an 'insult' at all. The older game, as good as it was for its time, hasn't aged too well, Eurocom had to make some changes for today's audience and they did a great job of doing so while still keeping some classic elements. I also think Nicole Scherzinger did a very good job on the remake of the theme. She's not Tina Turner, big deal, this isn't an easy song to cover but she pulled it off quite well.
