  • I suffered from athletes foot for several years and just finally overcame it. I never thought I'd say this but I actually miss one thing about athletes foot. I used to look forward to getting home from work, taking off my shoes, and scratching the hell outta my feet. It felt so good.

  • I had this same thing happen to me.. i had it for close to a month it bothered me so much.. i went to the beach on vacation and i heard that salt water cures a lot of skin problems so I stuck my feet in the ocean every day while on vacation and my foot was cured.

  • Mines on the bottom of my foot. It's just really itchy. Like to the point of bringing blood

  • if you can see and feel, tell me how do a person allow this to progress to this point before seeking medical help. to know that this can be spread!! seriously people get a grip of what's going on with your bodies. this is not anything you want to keep hidden cause you can infect others. This is the number one reason why so many people have it. Please go the the ER as soon as possible.

  • ON UR HAND ?? HOWS THAT POSSIBLE ??

  • ATHLETES HAND?!

  • toothpaste cure it they dont want you to no

  • GOOGLE: BLOCKOUTSTORE . They finally make anti microbial mats large enough to stand on and clean your feet when you are in filthy places like gyms, beaches, and more. I had to experience 3 months of HELL for not taking care of my feet, including expensive Lamisil pills that my insurance did not cover. Prevention is key to healthy feet.

  • This is interesting, however severe. As a doctor, the only think i can recommend in this case, amputation of the entire leg and one arm.

  • wow amazing....

  • i found this site and this person had a really bad case of athletes foot, but it got cured, you should see the pictures:

    worldwidewebcureyoursmellyfeet.yolasite.com

  • There is an anti-fungus medicine you can take for 4 months. Kills all of it. Its a very expensive medicines and can be harmful to the kidneys. But its worth it! You can have regular blood tests through out the treatment to check out your kidneys. Worked for me and my feet has looked lovely ever since...its been 6-7 years :) my foot fungus was really awful and had spread tp all my toe nails too...

  • are you able to get this on your hand? because i used to have something on my hand and fingers just like that that i got rid of not to long ago

  • oooh eww nasty

  • my grandfather used bleach and it cured that foot fungus right up.

  • That doesn't look like athlete's foot, it looks more like dyshidrosis.

  • wow dude that is gross

  • i use footpowder daily&nightly put sum powder medicated or regular on your feet and in all of your shoes, boots, slippers, sandals.since i been doing that had no foot problems,i heard the hand santizer put on your feet helps too.

  • it spread to my hands about two months ago, and its been slowly recovering but i've had to make sure i keep them in fresh air so they arent kept moist or hot, its gone from my foot now and i would estimate a few days from completely clearing up on my hands :)

  • is this a man or a woman ? how old ? was the illness cured?

  • Try Tinactin... it worked for me... I had it all over both of my legs and feet... It itched like a mofo.

  • try soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar.

  • How in hell do people get this? I play tennis a lot and my feet are always sweating due to my rigorous activity, and i have never had a fungal infection. Don't people clean themselves?

  • i think that's a different type of fungus maybe on your hands. There's hundreds of diffferent type of fungus out there, and regular athletes foor fungus can't grow on the hands unless they were kept damp, dark, and moist for a significant length of time.

  • i would be picking that 24/7 lol

  • Atheletes hand?

  • i have this but its not on my hands its on my feet an inbetween my toes fackin itchy

  • Possibly more than just a simple fungal infection going on there.

  • mine is mild but i am trying lamisil now. i already noticed a difference in a day.

  • oh my god!

i have that! and its getting worse i dont want my toe amputated :( :( :( :(

  • Use tea tree oil it works

  • u wont get ur toe amputated i have it between my toes its a very common skin condition if u go to the doctor they will give you some type of cream and maby pills. nothing to worry about.

  • dude....i suggest scraping the scaby crusty part everyday for quite some time and wash very good every day

  • And wash your hands alot after touching your feet that helps stop the spreading, change socks often and get new shoes atleast every 6 months.

  • whats the cure 4 this condition. any ideas?

  • In this instance, infection became so bad that amputation unfortunately became a neccessity. This is VERY unusual, as generally these things react to fungal creams.

  • amputation seriously! man i thought it looked bad but not that bad. i thought that just a really strong medicine for it or something would do the trick

  • @gpcove hurrr hurrrrrr

  • @gpcove omg, do you mean, amputation due to skin condition... bones and flesh are all right...so amputation doesn't seem right?!

  • @gpcove they chopped off your fucking toe?!!

  • @stratlover37 try piss

  • @stratlover37 I'd probably use a blowtorch, or maybe a wire stripper... :-)

  • are you a zombie now mister?

  • thats just cracked skin

  • not athletes foot. its on your hands, it needs hot moist areas to grow and fester. your hands are not that. i would get a doc to check it out.

  • @999banker athletes feet can get on your hands, its called a id reaction.

  • go to the doctor dude

  • It can still be athlete's foot. My friend had it on his feet and palms. We thought it was something else cuz i never seen it affect the hands. Doctor said it can spread lots of places if the fungus can take hold. Hands, feet, groin area and arm pits. He kept scratching at it. They call it "moccasin athlete's foot". Not quite sure if i spelled that right.

  • i doubt its athletes foot if its on your hands as well, athletes foot is a fungus thats spreads like crazy!....so i wouldnt normally just be around one toe, it would spread to all of your toes very quickly its probably an infection of some kind tho.

  • dam i got athlete's foot around my nutsack

  • that might be eczema dude

  • LOL...THAT MIGHT B JOCK ITCH

  • If it's on his hands it's probably not athelete's foot, because the fungus grows on moist, dark areas. He has probably got syphilis.

  • i have a question,,, have it but its just a little spot.. but it like feels bumpy and sticks out of the skin,,,i thought i had like this crazy fungas....is this still just athletes foot??i dont have it like u bud,,thats terrible no offense,,i got mine from hours of basketball....how did u get it on ur hand???let me know so i dont do it.. lol,,o yea im using tuff actin tenactin...john madden said so..!

  • vaporub at night helps alot.... keeps the skin dry....

  • Lamisil - might sting a bit though!

  • Use Hydrocloric acid - that will sort it out!

  • dude, good idea actually cud hydrocloric acid ony burns slowly but it wud b paintul if u left it on for more than like, 5 hours

  • Ok.

Or you can use a cheese-grater, you can use the filings to sprinkle on a 'create your own' pizza.

  • how does tht work?

  • I see a lot of cures on here for athletes foot. The best cure, in my opinion, is good hygiene. Good hygiene prevents this stuff from even popping up. Say you work out, shower immediately after working out. If using a gym shower, always wear flip flops. Say you dont work out, but your feet sweat. Make sure you change your socks or remove them as soon as time permits. Like at the end of the day and are home from work.

  • that's preventive medicine...

  • Right. It is better to prevent things than to deal with it.

  • thats some nasty fungus.

  • i have the inbetween my baby toe what is it?

  • Is this the next treeman?

  • Please. I have it on both feet way worse than you have it...

  • you have athlete's foot on your hands??..lol

  • i touched a spot on my face and i think i have it on my face. its very disgusting.

  • lol!!!

  • lol i had this very badly on three of my toes, it felt realllllly good to itch but then u scratch it t much and it gets really bad and the skin becomes week and creates heaps of serum and its real disgusting

  • soak it in rubbing alcohol. although alcohol does nothing to prevent the spores, it will cure faster. vinegar can get rid of the spores.

  • get a traditional rice cooker and put water in there.... heat it up. Once it gets pretty hot you put your athlete feet on top of the cover... leave it on for as long as you can handle ... on and off for 10 minutes do that for a week. You can buy it from newegg the product number is N82E16896112045 that's how I cured my hands.

  • use clomitrazole

  • i used 2 have that...it was awsome

  • thats nasty!

  • I once had it so painfully bad (the skin was cracking) between my toes that somehow the fungus got into my blood stream.

I'll tell ya this much... you NEVER want to go through what I went through when that happened. I could literally see where the veins in my lower leg were as they were bright red. I'm so glad I got onto antibiotics asap when that happened but for the next week after I felt like the walking dead (I had wicked chest pain and muscle pain all throughout)

  • have you tried this ? watch?v=GgpxL0N_QJE

    tell me if this works

  • Please go see a herbalist!!!!

  • now can someone tell me what kind of shit i got. this started 9 months ago ? one day suddenly. my entire hand got all these little swellings. they are simply holes in the flesh and when u pop them water comes out. so those lasted for a few days, while i was lookin at my foot i discovered it had the same thing. none of this itches. is it athlete's foot ?

  • Actually I thought you had a alergic reation to something.

  • that is EXACTLY like what my mom used to have.

  • 'debilitating condition.' a bit of an over statment. This can easily to treated with powder or spray. Tip for prevention- how about drying your feet proparoly

  • I don't think you've adaqatoly grasped the concept of irony here.

  • obvoisuly not but that is not easy when it through a keyboard. seriously that should be treated though- if not he will pass it on to other incocent people!!!

  • use lotramin then as crazy as this sounds house hold lysol spray first apply the lotramin then the lysol spray

  • disgusting

  • dude my whole foot is like that right now it hurts so fucking bad

  • i suffered for athelte's foot for years(though quite mild compared to this)

my tip for getting rid of it is to get rid of every pair of socks you own or have worn

wash with e45 shower gel(or something similar) and dry throughly

spray with mycil or good quality athlete foots spray-i prefered the spray to the talc

then wear light grey or white cotton socks

i really sympathise i used to scratch my feet unil they were raw and bleeding

the weird thing is you kinda miss that when it's gone

  • hey i think i have athletes foot, though it is not around my toes or on the bottom of my foot. it is on the top of my foot. it gets dry after i get out of the shower and starts to crack...any suggestions?

  • omg, totally agree with you. i scratch my feet till they bleed and the skin opens, and i actually enjoy it.

  • It feels kinda good feet heals pretty quick too
