*#06# dose not lock the phone to its current sim it just shows the IME number and i know that to be fact since my phone has had 3 different sim cards in it and all worked fine
Yeah the IME number can be used to help unlock the phone from just one GSM network, but it's more than just the IME number you need to get a phone unlocked.
There are so many idiots out there...It seems that the only thing you can say all day is 'Fake'. Even though you see a video that is supposed to be fake, you will say 'Fake' as the asshole you are...
It's not fake, that's like saying jumping the default proxy GPRS access address/ port is a fake way to get free GPRS data, and also don't call me names, if you really have something smart to say, say it, otherwise, silence your thoughts...
Was it the SIM lock one? I don't know how to undo it, but a mobile phone shop such as Orange, Vodafone or 3 can do it, possibly free of charge. That code is a code that phone shops use as well,so they have the power to make your phone normal again. I am very sorry to hear that you couldn't undo it, but it is undo-able! It should also be free of charge because it's free of charge where I live.
I've looked it up on Google and it seems to only work on certain models of monile phones, but it doesn;t specify what, for a Pocket PC phone though, it works, that's all it's worked on for me!
Yeah, they do! =) The battery trick may not work on Sony Ericssons though I think there's a different number for them, but try these out as they work for me! I found these numbers off a website and Wikipedia's good for this too.
I tried looking on Google for you and it probably will work. I don't know if your network may restrict this as some do, but try it. Most allow it. Try the battery one with a Nokia or Motorala first, because it defenetly works on these but your LG Viewty will work with the SIM lock code anyway though
Is your battery life higher than required. It will only work if you have a VERY LOW battery on your phone (when it starts to bleep) Try it when your battery is low! =)
