she is a real singer. I went to school with Taylor in stl until she graduated last year. She has an amazing voice and is majoring in music now- its only a matter of time until she gets a record deal, but she is only a freshman.

"loudness" isn't about shouting, it's about projecting. a focused voice sounds 1000% louder than a shouting one.

whining exercises like this focus the voice in the most resonant parts of the sinus cavity.

but if done incorrectly (pressure on the larynx, tightening the epigastrium, or improper support) whining will strain the vocal folds.

if you want information about singing and you can't study with a good coach like Brett, read "Singing: The Mechanisms and Techniques" by William Vennard.

great point mr singing success. And well, I've commented, hoping to keep your video alive. Really ,honestly. I am loving this singer. same with The Paramore girl. I don't know the vocalists name. But. She has a fantastic voice. I think, concentrating on your favorite genre and focusing on their techniques can inevitably increase a singer's flexibility. one of my recent genres i fancy are, classical. mainly the opera singers and them high notes. impressive.

Hye, is it suspicious people discriminate country as "gay" because they don't understand the dynamics in the vocalist's voice. or maybe the oddly sounding complex melodies they play with guitar. I don't do neither. but. I think country singers have more talent then metal ones. and I love metal. country is alright. not my cup of tea.Go Taylor Pey. wow 20% of her voice. Impressive.

what a great comment. I think there's a level of mastery for EVERY style of music. Not everybody likes everything, but I appreciate excellence in the STYLE that an artist has chosen.
