The biggest problem Cartoon Network had with trying to show animes on their station was that besides the successful 4Kids dubbing of Pokemon, 4Kids would get the rights to dub shows like One Piece and Zatch Bell, that although they looked cute and sweet, in the end though they contained dark plot twists that 4Kids couldn't tone down, plus with the substandard job they did with censoring, the animation companies were outraged with 4Kids handling of their properties.
