@raza46 He was running towards his own goal, juggling w/ his body between the defender and the ball. He wasn't "doing" anybody. To be honest, he wasn't doing anything. Other than saying, "hey look at me".

@Cadams7 he was holding the ball to himself, he juggled it away from the attacker. and even if he did do a trick or two, to get attention, doesn't mean you try and break the guys legs.
and i think the "doing" is done, when the attacker tries and fails to get the ball twice, falling over once. but still, that's not a reason for that kind of tackle.

@raza46 I agree. You don't see people jumping the net and attacking Federer with their racquet at Wimbledon, so why do footballers think it's ok? The game was obviously all but over so they should have already been thinking towards the next game, and let Nani showboat for the crowds. It was nice to see at a time when skill is basically being phased out in favour of physical players.

@iamcjb thank you, at least someone gets my point. i love seeing that kind of magic in football, its what inspires young players, that creativity and magic. physical players are necessary, but to get gifted players who can pull of tricks, however cocky, in games makes it a spectator sport.
