Everyone, please take the time to read Craig's book, American On Purpose. It is the best. I did not care for his earlier novel, but I really enjoyed the autobiography. In it he describes the depths of his alcohol and drug addictions and, ultimately his victory over both. He also fully explains the times surrounding both his parents' deaths. Lots of fun and humor, too. He hides nothing from you . . . just like he runs his show - HIS way, upfront and honest at all times.

I just finished reading it yesterday, and recommend it wholeheartedly, to those who know Bill W. and everyone else, too. I love CF from the show, and was shocked ("shocked!") to hear what a badass he used to be. Authentic, searing, hilarious. Who knew about him & Peter Cook? Made me weep. If you enjoy the LLS, you will love his memoir.

In deed, cause theres a difference between be a comedian and a funny man. a comedian sometimes doesn't see his own limits and does some bad things cause these kind of people sometimes don't know how to deal with death. But Craig is a funny man, we laugh with him, of his jokes but he doesn't have scared to show his feelings, he wants to make us clear that hes a humam like all of us. And this is awesome!

She seems like a gem I always found it funny when Craig made fun of his mother in an amusing way. Singer Jann Arden does the same thing...

Mentioning your parents is one thing, but having them as guests on your show is another.
