You know, people! I was just reading some King's interview and she mentioned she wrote this song "Jessica" at the age of 15 or 16 and it has something about her first lesbian affair.

I guess it gives some credit to this song being simplier comparing to other King's songs.

Yes people, she can play very technical and shes a very talented guitarist, but the whole point is that she isn't writing music for the sake of being a technical guitarist, that's just the form in which she expresses herself. As a musician myself, I like to write complex music, but I don't limit myself to complex only. Its all about the emotion. I hope that most of you are listening with your ears and not your eyes. As for this song, I love it, very beautiful. Soft, sweet, and gentle.

I think it's just that it's a much simpler song compared to her others. Simple strumming isn't necessarily bad technique. And I actually like hearing her play like this on rare occasions, it's refreshing.

kaki is such a rad songwriter. as far as tabs, just look at where her fingers are when shes playing the chords. theres not many, just mess around on your guitar.
