i always loved the japanese voices in animes and i always thought in contrary to that, american serials that get dubbed in japanese must sound cruel...but i was so wrong...it really sounds awesome either way!
I have that EXACT SAME TV! 52 inch JVC, rear projection LCD, methinks? My HDMI input doesn't seem to work on that sucker, though...and I'm noticing significant fade, as well as the innards are dusty...not sure if I'm going to open the set and clean it or just get something smaller when the bulb goes (again). -$300.
In the final episode of the 4th season, they played a word association game for "she's having a baby." Voice actor of Jesse spoke "cheese", "half", "ink", "baby" and "she's having a baby" in japanese english pronunciation, coz these were loan words here in japan.
wow,,at least in Japan they make the shows understandable for the audience..in my country the dominican republic..they expect us to understand non-spanish programming LMAO..
I'd say until the dominican republic educates it's youth and the govt. stops corruption maybe the country will become more prosperous in creating it's own medium of entertainment that appeals to all audiences in D.R. while still broadcasting foreign shows... :)
for some reason, full house seems to work even better in japanese...

They do have shows .But the shows are not appealing to all audiences.. For example about 80% of shows produced in DO.RE. are primarily for adults
all other audiences Children cartoons are U.S. American or more recently Anime dubbed into Mexican or Spanish from Spain then broadcasted in Do.Re.
