Charge beam is the only weapon the damages it, just use it and don't get hit. There's also screw attack but it does less damage that you receive

Second, I believe the Varia Suit sent to you in the game was corrupted by Core-X that stole it (the X corrupt or mutate everything if you think about it). ... I use this reason to explain why the Varia Suit is horrible-looking in this game. Hence, why I call the SA-X Suit, the Restored Varia Suit. :P

RAM=Random Access Memory, it contains everything that is going on in the game

ROM=Read Only Memory, it is the actual game. The programming, assembly, graphics and sound, ie. how to change the RAM.

To hack a ROM is to permanently change the game itself, to change some RAM values is to change what is happening, until you restart the game.

I do not have gameshark, that however, doesn't stop me making cheat codes for gameshark.

I did not do any ROM hacking, I simply changed some values at the RAM addresses which determine what colours certain parts of your suit are.
