I get so friggin' tired of people ragging on the ADRL. If any sanctioning body has ruined the sport of drag racing it is the NHRA and now the IHRA. If 1/8th mile drag racing sucks, then answer this question. Why does ever ADRL event have continuing record crowds? Yeah, they give away tickets but what the hell. You think the NHRA or IHRA would ever give away free tickets to anyone? Long live the ADRL. Screw the NHRA and IHRA.

YEAH I know I read that also % this year is suppose to be a test with ONLY 1 outlaw ProMod class BUT the article said that next year or 2011 The ShakeDown will be ALL 1/8th mile.I'm no longer interested to see the ShakeDown now...I'm not paying to see these cars run HALFTRACK.....ITS NO different than the ADRL!!!!.....I hope the fans up NORTH BOO the hell out of the 1/8th mile promod class this year.What a way to ruin the good ole shakedown.

if anything ADRL should Run E-town in the spot of Memphis (May 28 & 29 2010) while Keeping the Shakedown a seperate thing with some ADRL Sanctioning with the records.

TOO BAD the shakedown will be F'ED UP next year....thanks to the fact that they will be racing ALL 1/8th mile ONLY....really am pissed that David Hance would not tell ALL those ADRL & other 1/8th mile racers that he was ONLY having 1/4mile races @ the ShakeDown.Too BAD for us who want to see FAST cars run the 1/4mile!!!
