  • On a side note, I can't wait to hear Steve Howe's new Album "Time". It's all Classical as I understand it. I bet Steve loved doing it, It's bound to be a Classic.

  • @DjangosBurntFingers

Hey, thank you so much, hilarious nickname :D

I didn't know about the Steve Howe album, I'll be looking forward to it impatiently now.

  • My first listen to "Camel". Very nice. My kind of Guitar Music. I'm getting to where I love the softness of the Guitar more and more. Gorgeous Performance. Boyce Livingston Webb 12 - 16 - 11

  • amazing! great job man, do you have tabs?

  • @stigno89

yeah, there's a link right at the description video box. cheers.

  • Nailed it. Thank you for doing this. lovely.

Have listened to Camel since the 70's.

  • amazing, 5/5

  • WOW ... ThANKS A LOT !

  • You're welcome.

  • The end-part here is reminding me of Anthony Phillips (The Geese and the Ghost).. brilliant!

  • This is SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!!! You are a genius buddy this is marvelous so marvelous... brilliant! you are a genius!!!!!!!

  • Thanks man, stay tunned for a tab of this one, you could also find it at my website.

  • I quite like your taste, from classical, 1970s progressive rock, to percussive Mediterranean DiMeola stuff! In 1979 concert in Shinjuku was with Peter Burdens. Mostly from Breathless album in which Latimer sang "Rainbow's End" at the end. The very next year was totally different, promoting the album Remote Romance with two new keyboard players and they played "Ice". BTW my dog is "Corgi".

  • When I saw your upload titled "ice", I never thought it was that ICE. I was there at Tokyo 1980 and was listening to this piece played by Latimer. Indeed this could be well arranged in one guitar and still leaves all the features of the original. Thank you for the beautiful piece.

  • Thanks MickCorgi. I've only watched him once at the Farewell Tour some years ago, and he played this song :). Hope he's feeling well now and ready to rock again. By the way, you got a cool dog. Is that a Jack Russell?

  • Briliant!

  • I think this is BRILLIANT! I know Andy would be proud if he heard it... Great job man, excellent playing. This comes for a hardcore camel fan...

  • Thanks a lot, I appreciate it.

  • Well done mate from a lifelong Camel fan.

  • Bravo...very very very nice... thank you for sharing the moment of joy.

  • respect ! very good !

  • job well done may camel live on as one of the best prog bands

  • great

  • MAAAANNNN!!!!! WHAT A COVER!!!! I think this is the best cover I've ever heard. It's simply perfect. I don't have another word. Way better than perfect. Congratulations. Your techique is amazing. If you ever happen to be in Argentina, and you want to make a tribute band to Camel, here I am in drums! JEJEJE! Again, perfect cover.

  • Muchas gracias, Aristillus.

  • Amazing interpretation. Best thing I've seen on youtube for a long time. Must've taken you ages to figure out...

  • That didn't take me so much long if I remember correctly, but I'm not always so lucky. And sometimes you have to let an uncertain amount of time pass in order to "be ready" to do so.

  • Very very very well done. Congratulations.

I'm 1/4 way through a piano cover of this, ao I feel that I understand the technical difficulty of the peice, and what you've acheived.

  • I agree with you Ethel, it's such a devastating and emotional song. It would be cool to play more from Camel for sure, there are so many good songs... Being a VBM doesn't make things easy ;^)

  • WOAH! My friend! Is this how Latimer played it originally? Or have you interpreted the lead AND chords like some form of genious???? I'm eager to know! Either way fantastic work mate keep it up!

  • This one is my 'interpretation', as you said, of some of the piano parts and the melody on the electric guitar. Glad that you liked it!

  • I appreciate it.

  • This is wonderful...thank you so much. you are very talented.... And of course thank you Andy for writing it!

  • Great!!! awesome arrangement, i'd like to hear it on a good spanish guitar

  • That was great, am trying to play ICE too, but without much success. Have you written the TAB for it? It would be great if you could send me a copy if you had.

  • Brilliant arrangement, I don't suppose you have any tabs for this? If not I'll just have to set aside some time and work it out, you've got a great take on a great Camel piece.
