  • At 3:09 i had long since disconnected the ac power cord and battery, is my laptop broken since i didnt keep it plugged in? YOu dumb shit, you need to have it disconnected before you even take off the fucking panels or else you might short circuit shit. LEARN TO MAKE A GOOD TUTORIAL VIDEO!!!

  • @HeadShot360IN if your hands have grown from your ass, then it doesn't matter when you disconnect the AC power and remove the battery... you'll always have short circuits even when you work with it...

All actions before will NOT cause any short circuits, unless you take the parts together again. This is necessary for upgrade of the main parts only.

Special for u -> don't forget to shut down your operating system before you mess with your netbook... good luck

  • any video how to replace my broken touchpad?

  • @Dimitris227 unfortunately you might have to replace the whole front panel. I think you can follow this video up to 2:58. Finally, you have to replace some more screws from the backside, i think..

  • @AlexSugarRC ouu that sounds a little bit dificult. anyway thanks

  • @Dimitris227 What you need is a service manual. Just google it. I got one for my D260.

  • This is a very nice video. I've been looking for this info. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the video! I'll be upgrading my wife's RAM next month and needed to know how to open the case.

  • @deakklok upgrade your wife's ram? that cant be a good thing, she wont ever stop talking cause' she'll have more room for more gossip. jk

  • Hey good job with the video. Just one question, I've got the Acer Aspire One AOD255E-13608 model and do you think the memory that you listed will work?

  • @shelbycobragr3 just check it at Web-Site of Kingston (right above -> Memory Search), there you will find your model and suitable memory.

In fact you can search for memory with the following features (found on Amazon):

    Module Size: 2GB

    Package: 204-pin SODIMM

    Feature: DDR3 PC3-8500

  • Thank you, really helped

  • superb job. wonderful camera work.

  • terima kasih sangad tutorialnya

  • best video anyway :) just a question i got the one wiv win xp installed on it, it doesnt reach the 700Mb of ram while im working, do u think wiv 2 giga it wold be faster?! or will it be the same?! otherwise i will not change the ram :)...thanks! rhumb up!

  • @matrixITALIA hey, thanks for watching. I think it would be faster in some things like booting. Many often used operations will be launched from memory ram, which is faster than hard disk. But imho, if your PC never reached 75% usage of ram, then you wont have sensitive better perfomance.

  • Can you tell me wich prograd did you use to make this wonderful video... and one more thing, please tell me the song name.. Thank you best regards

  • @sareg12 hello, thanks for watching, but this video is nothing special ;-), I made this video with Sony Vegas 10 Pro, pretty simple to create such video. Music is: "Moreno - Firebird (Nocturnal Club Mix)"

  • Very nice video... thank you.

  • TIPP! Be careful when you install the Driver for you TouchPad. Some Drivers on the ACER Website are not listed. You netbook D260 might have a Touchpad by "Synaptics".

  • do you know if you can use pc3-10600 ram?

  • @megasquals yes you can. The original Memory inside my netbook (ACER D260) was "Kingston 1GB DDR3 1333MHz".

  • What a great informative video. You Just made my life so much easier.

  • @Mickimai happy to hear that =)

  • i dident only go and get a 4gb ram duh! it wont fit

  • @MOZZWIGAN u can upgrade up to 2GB memory on these netbooks

  • @AlexSugarRC Hi where did you get the hard drive and ram upgrade at?

  • @GamingGod216, i bought the RAM at Amazon. I didn't upgraded my Harddrive
