If you want to be a "Ranger" I would reccommend the NATIONAL PARK SERVICE - - - they hire highly trained personal that attend the federal police academy in Georgia for 5-months. "U.S. Park Rangers" are federal officers with some serious authority (considering Nat'l Parks are mostly exclusive jurisdiction and very large). The U.S. FOREST SERVICE and U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT are two other great federal land management police agencies to consider. :)

Thanks for sharing the truth, as I know first hand what the park rangers at the county park can be like. I was walleye fishing after dark onetime, and a whole crew of them treated me like a major convict and held me there for about an hour....walleye fishing after dark in the county park is a serious crime ughhh
