i think the WHO ought to be commended. they took the necessary steps, despite what others may think, to ensure that the world was safe from a disease that could have potentially wiped out mankind. The W.H.O. lost its credibility again by pushing this whole unnecessary fear campaign surrounding H1N1 flu vaccines.

In late May/09 it was already known from the Flu statistics of Australia's closing flu season that the H1N1 flu was a dud. Less fatalities than a regular flu season occurred.

Yet despite this fact, the WHO changed the definition of PANDEMIC to no longer take into consideration a high mortality rate....Thus a mild, non-threatening, seasonal flu could now be termed PANDEMIC.
