  • where in a hardware stor can you find the rubber gaskets? like what section? thanks!

  • do all bindings fit on all snowboards?

  • Thanks just finished setting up my bindings!!!!!(while watching your video)! Subscribing now

  • hey i have a 6X6 hole pattern on my snowboard and i was wondering how i could get the binding width of 23.5 without setback. with a centered stance

  • Hey, i measured the distance from my knee to the floor to determine my stance, as shawn in this video, but i am wondering if this size should be between your feets or do you measure from the outside, or the middle of your feets? Thanks for your help, and sorry for my bad english lol

  • dont use that tape it will push ur base out

  • first time i went boarding. the rental place made the Bindings inward.. damn it was such a bad day for me.. . i ate snow over n over. im making sure i get duck feet next time ( out ward)

  • dude... i'm 15, -2. wierd.

  • This is the MOST informative video on that particular topic. thanks

  • what is that rubber gasket thingy. i may sound stupid but if i go to like home depot or something and i ask someone where the rubber gaskets are, will i be making sense?

  • Yes you can try different adjustments but these are really good guidelines

  • i learned to board on 0, 0 setting and i was just fine, now i just set my new board at 15, 0

  • @thugdoutDUNN correction its set at 29, 0 now lol

  • @thugdoutDUNN I used 15 0 as a beginner, or was it 0 15, anyways Im going to change becauise i think its only for beginners.

  • i have no degrees on my binding

  • You make it look so easy

  • in fact the bolts should come with a blue sorta plasticy rubbeery coating

  • this dude sounds like jeff bridges

  • I know some people says that they have they're bindings 15 degrees frontfoot and 15 backfoot. What's the right thing to have? I have em' 15 15 now.

  • there is no right way, its what ever way feels comfortable to you

  • there is no "right way" adjust them a few times in the day.

  • i dont understand what you mean by the hibacks must be parallel

  • Best mounting instruction. You really know what you're talking about. I thought I knew everything there's to know about mounting bindings but I was still able to learn something new.

  • thanks it helps alot

  • just wondering, how thick are the rubber gaskets you are using? and does it noticeably affect how tight the screws can go? i'm guessing the teflon tape is used to create a snugger fit for the screws, to compensate for the added distance between the binding and board, no?

  • It is either 1/8 or 1/16 inch. The teflon tape has nothing to do with the rubber pad. The teflon adds just enough friction to keep the screws in. 15 years ago I was stripping inserts on boards (manufacturing defect) and Burton told me to use the teflon. It has worked ever since.

  • Thank you for this video, I listened to everything the vid said, and I'm riding a lot more comfortable.

  • @iThinking it just prevents stripping of the bolts and keeps em tight

  • excellent video. This was the only one that helped me get it right. Well done.

  • sometimes its different for skateboarding and snowboarding, you see i ride skate boards goofy because i push with my left foot better but i snowboard normal because it feels more comfortable

  • I agree, both me and my friend are goofy on a skateboard but on snow be are both regular.

  • @jamosldnx207 thats funny thats how i am except backwards

  • ty i can never find a good vid and know i have ty ty ty ty ty ty know i can do it lol

  • what helps alot to find if ur goofy or regular

    is to skateboard

try to ollie regular and then goofy

    whatever one feels more comfortable

    is ur best bet

  • Finally a good video, not like the ones from expervillage

  • I recommend just trying out a skateboard

  • By the way, not trying to be a smartalike but dont slide across the floor to see if you are reg or goofy because I tried that and i slid goofy but i am regular
