  • i have a question every time i ask a question lam insulted for not knowing the answer.i do not need that today.why is it it takes some singers or musicans so long to get into the rock and roll hall of fame and some people have only been out there only a few years and boom they are in.is it how many records they sell or something else?

  • great sense of rhythm!!!!

  • Mmmmmmmmmmmm... black chicks.

  • I luv this song!

  • i love this song it is so calming

  • the ultimate female and biggest selling in the history of music,no other comes close to what diana ross and the supremes acheived.

  • i saw it with my OWN eyes. when this song came on the radio, it made you STOP, mesmerized, with your eyes closed, until the DJ took it off. what SONG today makes you want to do that?

  • @tofelt a song from the 20th century hahaha

  • my favorite group, love em

  • They were that one in a trillion combination. Amazing.

  • i love this song:)

  • As a side note, Diana had some long, sexy arms, and a great voice. But the real message is that James Jamerson wrote the bass line to this sublime song. And more people should realize the contribution that the funk brothers made to popular music all over the world. Look them up!

  • Wow, Diana was hella sexy...

  • Love the hair

  • I love this song! This is music!

  • the only girl group i have seen that has come close to the supremes and all those vocal groups back in the 50s and 60s is en vogue. they had the beauty class and talent just like the supremes. and their harmonies...dnt get me started so pure!!!

  • 1964: songs about innocence and love

2011: sex drugs drinking and cursing.... i want time travel :(

  • Saw Diana Ross at Caesars in Vegas. She's great.

  • the epitome of class, good taste and sexiness allput together. i could sit and watch these ladies all day long. and the voices are just beautiful. female singers nowadays dont care about singing. they only care about dancing and choreography and the vocals are secondary.thats why the music is disposable. no auto-tune with the supremes (although they did their share of lip-synching), just 3 talented a beautiful women singing the most beautiful music.the best girl-group of all time.

  • @Robbery98NS They were lip synching to their own songs though!

  • @TheGabbydeb Lip synching was very commong practice in those days of television. Sound fidelity was not very good during live performances, so they spun the record and the talent did their thing. Don't judge yesterday's broadcast performance standards by today's. They're not the same thing at all.

  • I wish this had more power to it....but I guess the dumb white people at the time couldn't appreciate it soulful performances

  • i swear i love the little dance moves they do :)

  • i love this song so i made my own cover of it check it out on video responses 'Elisa Where did our love go' @ Elisa201199

  • i was on my way to my grandpa's work and i heard this song. and right away i fell in love with it

  • Cults - You Know What I Mean.

  • I called a pizza delivery place last night and asked for a thin and crusty supreme........ they sent me Diana Ross... WHEY!

  • @Elzwhittymusic Hi, now that was funny !

  • Rachel Crow sent me here

  • we used to sing this in my 6th grade class(:

  • Wich year? 1925??? Looks like

  • @MrMafalda72 WHICH year? 1964. Looks like.

  • i seriously love the beat. and such good singing , of course. #supremesfanforever

  • sugar pie honey bunch is better

  • Girlicious brought me here..

  • I sometimes wish I grew up in this era

  • I dance to this every christmas WILD!

  • class act yes sir

  • @MrAvc27 ,,how some things have changed, the white people as you put it should have been up on there feet dancing and clapping along to this, transport a bunch of soulies back to this moment and that is exactly what would have happened,

  • Music with meaning!

  • Nearly 50 years ago, and these chicks still kick axe.

I hope they are proud of this because it's ... phenomenal. I still remember my mom singing this to me & dancing around in our living room. She was from Detroit and Motown just connected her with home.

  • @ESEBEI53 shut up. you cant even compare the supremes to destinys child. supremes are a class act, destinys child are a crass act.

  • THE GREAT THING ABOUT THEM WAS THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE TO COPY FROM LIKE MANY OF TODAY'S "ARTISTS." THEY SET THE PRECEDENT. AND BOY, DID THEY EVER!!!!

  • @gooboo1000 are you kidding? do you have any knowledge of the 60's? There three big music writing buildings--tin pan alley, the brill building, and Motown. They all followed strict formulas that were based on what worked. These ladies were associated with Motown. They were successful because they "sounded white" and therefore white audiences did not perceive a threat, so they were successful. They did not set the precedent, they followed the model.

  • @nero314100 They "sounded white"? LOLOL..that's the first I've heard that one. I did hear about whites trying to tell their kids, who were so obsessed with the new Motown sound, Not to listen to that N***** music. Same deal with acts like Chuck Berry and Fats Domino. But sounding white? Nah..You've got a hard sell trying to say they didn"t set the precedent. They where successful because Holland Dozier Holland wrote kick-ass melodies and Berry Capitalized on the Original super girlgroup image.

  • @paulpaid I'm not just pulling this out of my ass dude, I've taken a class on this. Motown was run by mostly black people and they relized that white america had a much larger disposable income than black america, so they tried to make their singers appealing to white audiences. Look at the supremes, they look nice, high pitched soft voices, and when you see an audience they're mostly white. Fats domino--suit, smiling, white audience. Etc, etc.

  • @nero314100 I agree with you, their sound was universally appealing hence their astounding success. They did follow a strict formula geniusly geared by Berry Gordy and his family, however, they were naturally gifted in the fact that they were universally appealing or as you put it, sounded "white". Their chemistry and talent made them who they were. They proudly set the precedent for the groups of "color" that came after them.

  • @gooboo1000 I'm not saying they weren't naturally talanted, I'm saying they were hired by Motown because of the quality of their voice since Motown was gearing for white america's wallets. As I said before, when they have an audience, quite a large portion of the audience was white whereas, on the flip side, at a concert for someone like James Brown with "unprofessional" attire and lyrics promoting the African American ethnicity (eg: say it loud, im black and proud) the audience is mostly black

  • @nero314100 i dont understand I am a mexican american and i love them, was this somehow accidently geared towards my culture too???

  • @Deathprf88 I'm not saying JUST white people liked them. Motown realized that white america had a much larger disposable income than black america and so they made their groups appealing to white audiences to reel in as much income as possible--they were trying to be a profitable business. Mexican americans were a very small minority at the time with little to none disposable income, so businesses typically did not try to gear their products to mexican americans.

  • Damn they had HD cameras back then lol

  • "Don't you want me, don't you want me no more?"

  • who ever disliked this can go fuck themselves
