I was not looking for a Tablet , I was looking for a BOOK READER. Amazon Kindle Fire flunked my book reader test. I went back to the Graphite 3g Touch it's so much better on the eyes then the Kindle Fire. When I get a new computer I may be looking at an I pad.

I don't think people understand the difference between the kindle and the Ipad. The Ipad is a multitask tablet, you can watch movies, write, surf online, play games, read some books, what does the kindle do, since it's made by a corporation which, sells books, it's practically a advertising tablet, where you get bonus for buying books on it, but the quality of the device is questionable.

Thank You I just got my Kindle Fire for Christmas and Love it . I figured that out by turning the power Button on the upside the first day I used it. Kindle Fire should not even be up against I pad and the other PC devices. Kindle is meant for Reading Books not running Program APS. I'm amazed Kindle Fire does play movies for the price $199.00.Amazon has done a great job for the price. I have already read several BOOKS!!

@DWJ202 You could have searched a little better, the kindle fire isn't the only tablet going for a small price, and it's the only down clocked tablet selling for such a price. It's just too slow to be significant to anything else. 200 dollars for something slow, I don't think so.
