i tried this and it works. i used fresh squeezed lemon juice but i don't think it makes a difference. I don't think you are supposed to dilute it by drinking all that water right after it.
I know this is a year old but...You know those plastic lemon things are CONCENTRATED right? You would have been best to dilute that concentrated lemon juice or use real squeezed lemons. Fun to watch though. You're a brave kid for doing it.
