My cat used to play dead too. Even when you held her from the back with two hands. She would stretch out and her tounge would barely stick out of her mouth. She was a calico.

Same trick is done when resurrecting a fly. You cool down the fly in a freezer and when u get it out to heat it revives :)) at least that's how the fly trick is done

@Cyber2k88 There was no cooling down of the cat involved. The waiter just picked up the cat, turned him on his back and then put him on the floor. I didn't know what was going to happen but I could see that something was about to happen and started filming. I just didn't get it from the start.

I'm sorry I've made myself unclear. I meant that the same VISUAL effect is with the cooled fly in a freezer. The fly looks dead and suddenly flies away. Clearly the cat wasn't cooled down / frozen or anything. I'm sorry for not being clear in my OP.
