  • great work there by a handsome guy!

  • Just added this to my "Hymns, Praise, and Gospel" playlist -- truly amazing, and moved me to tears.

  • America, watch this Beautiful One-Man Choir.

  • Amazingly beautiful

  • What a range you have, and what control. Amazing! Love your work!

  • This sounds really great. The one thing I would say your music (in general) could use more of is dynamics and phrasing, which could be achieved through a mix of the digital software and your own vocal performance. But I really, truly love what you do and I'm incredibly impressed with your blend... certainly better than I could do, myself. Keep on keeping on!

  • @Pianomaster2008 thank you. Thats actually a very difficult thing to do when multitracking. It's something that I've been trying to work on in more recent videos

  • You sir, have WAY too much time on your hands! But this truely spectacular! Never give up your talent! I am a singer but I'm a guitarist so I don't do fancy choir stuff like what you just performed, but that was truely a beautiful peice of music.

  • I do have perfect pitch and I am a credible music critic. This music is absolutely world class. You have talent, young man, and it would appear that you are not wasting it!!

  • @accousticdecay thank you so much!

  • Bravo sir Bravo!...well done...

  • So many people talk about how wonderful family harmony can be... How awesome is this... talk about harmonizing with close family. I think harmonizing with yourself is about as close as it gets when it comes to accomplishing "tight" harmonies. This is incredible.

  • Ha, my choir sang this arrangement my last year of high school... I find it funny that one guy alone could sing it better than that whole freakin' choir of stuck-ups who claimed they were all "awesome" singers...

  • @duntzwitch well keep in mind I have the luxury of redoing this as many times as I want until it's perfect. Of course it's better. If I did this live it would not be as good.

  • @duntzwitch Yeah... we spent months on it. Never. Got it. Right. I doubt you could do this live anyway... maybe in the Twilight Zone. =P

  • you need to make a cd.. What part to you sing first?

  • @KristinaAnn89 haha maybe. you could download my songs from danwright32(dot)bandcamp(dot)com

as for the order of parts, in the song I started with the melody, but it depends.

  • Wow! this is just stunning! Your ability to tune with yourself is so stellar you must have perfect pitch not to mention your amazing register! Love it :D

  • @bennyclln nope, no perfect pitch. just the ability to start over whenever I mess up =]

  • The upper register almost sounds like Weird Al Yankovic. That being said. This is still incredibly sick. Well done.

  • Awesome! Keep it up...

  • You are absolutely amazing! I've watched almost all of your videos and can't believe how incredibly talented you are! Thank you for sharing your creative gifts with us!

  • @saturngirl73 thanks for listening!

  • i am the one who disliked so you have a reason to get better. This is so awesome .

  • This is Absolutely Amazing !

    Your awesome dude .

  • 0 dislikes - 'cause it's impossible to dislike this!! Oh, yeah!

  • You're a genius!!!! Awesome man!!!!

  • what software do you use?

  • @willy56765 I use logic pro for audio and final cut pro for video

  • Would love to hear you (all!) do God Bless America ...

  • OUT STANDFING! Breathing an phrasing was spot on! First time I've encountered your videos.

    Keep it up.....excellent!

  • OMG - You are incredible. You rank with the best vocalists that I have ever heard, and probably the cleverest and most creative. What an incredible range you have. If you're not a pro, you should be. I just can't say enough good things about how impressed I am. Wow!! Thank you for sharing these beautiful creations, even with strangers such as I.

  • @dbp9000 thank you so much! I'm not a professional, but I do study music in college

  • OMG That was absolutely beautiful. How long does it take to make one of these vids because their awesome!

  • @Ariela1230 depending on the difficulty and length of the song (and how much time I'm willing to work on it per day), it can be as little as one day, or like the current one I'm (still) working on, as long as 4 months.

  • You have an excellent range!! And it actually sounds really good unlike many!! great job:)

  • I loved it!!!That was beautiful ...never herd anything like that before..Can't wait to hear more from you.

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL................

    t.o.

    USA

  • Amazing...Outstanding...Incredible. Please keep it up. You're an amazing talent with an unique and beautiful idea. Much success to you!

  • My... God... That was absolutely phenomenal! I just found the sheet music and you better believe I'm going to introduce this to my choir! :D

  • @mmatthews1991 awesome!

  • all i can say is WOW! my schools vocal jazz group is doing this version and i can only hope that we sound as great as you!

  • @dodgersfan2011 hey thanks! you should let your director know that there are typos in the score. I spoke to Darmon Meader before I recorded this is he said: "The D naturals in the Tenor and Bass parts (bar one and three) are supposed to be D flats."

  • @dodgersfan2011 hey thanks! you should let your director know that there are typos in the score. I spoke to Darmon Meader before I recorded this is he said: "The D naturals in the Tenor and Bass parts (bar one and three) are supposed to be D flats."

  • @danwright32 thanks! so i was right haha it sounded a little off but we just went with it anyways now we have another two weeks to fix it...

  • @dodgersfan2011 well it still sounds good with the other notes, but he said it's better with the others

  • Wow, I just subscribed after I found your "Eleanor Rigby" cover, and I've been watching all of your videos. You have such amazing range, lung capacity, and precision! Keep up the amazing work!

  • @mpc1301 thank you! I'm glad you like them!

  • You should be way more popular on the internets. Or in life. Either way, it's great.

  • @laurichuchi1995 thank you!

  • hey man, that sounds unbelievable. It has been a long time since I heard such a choir, or one man band. I was just wondering where you got the arrangement from. Would bee grateful if you told me

  • @McJayJazz thanks a lot! this is a daemon meader arrangement. I got the music from my school (my jazz ensemble sung this) but you could probably just google it, I don't think it'd be hard to find. there's a typo in the music though that Mr. Meader told me about so if you do end up ordering it let me know so I can give you the right notes

  • Very nice, Dan. I enjoyed that.

  • @vanceperry thanks Vance!

  • I wish this was our national anthem.

  • @cbkuhlman me too, it is a much more beautiful melody, lends itself to beautiful harmonization and the words express the true American spirit (which we are going to need in the coming years....)

  • Wow, this is amazing! Are you the first to do this with the note changes as per Darmon Meader?

Love the Red(hair) , white and blue!

    Awesome job!

    Keep them coming!

  • Took me a while figure out which one was singing the solo... I mean. They all look the same! ...weird...

  • GREAT JOB!!!!!

  • Nicely executed! Appropriate for the time of year, too. Thanks for posting!

  • Is this the Darmon Meader arrangement??

  • @sdnotesman yup!

  • I love it!

  • Great job again Dan! You never fail to impress me.

  • Beautiful singing. You can tell the effort put into this video. Keep it up. :)

  • Wow Dan, very cool and well executed. I can't imagine how long it must take to make 32 tracks. 4 alone is already a lot... How long did it take you to make this, from start to finish?

  • @trudbol thanks! this one was actually a bit of a rush job. I recorded all of the parts back to back starting with soprano (melody) then bass, tenor, alto. it was roughly 2.5-3 hours of recording. then the editing took me about 5 or 6 hours maybe (not in a row though). normally something like this would be spanned throughout a few weeks or even a month or more

  • Ah-ma-zing! Loved this!!!!

  • Wonderful. I really hope you do more classical stuff soon. Woud love to hear Bach's b-minor mass Cum sancto spiritu, challenging and fun.

  • @saintsaens21 I certainly plan on it

  • awesome =)
