I have been trying to get this now for 1 week and still havent done it.

Because the original game is almost impossible, you can only drive so much slow...

Also that is one amazing simulator.

@LordKranio it's possible, but you have to scroll the bar "Linear - Non-Linear" in the "Options" of the game, specifically where you set the controls! Just scroll the bar near to the "Non-Linear" option, it will give you a more stable steering wheel... of course, the original cars are insane, they have a poor grip, GPL reproduces the cars physics just like on the sixties, but this bar helps a lot to drive! works for me. :)

Great Game !! I finished allready the first stage in Daytona on the third place with the 8 liter-Killer PORSCHE 910 (best round in race 1:57:37) behind LOLA T70 and CHAPERAL. I do not have the Track of the season Ollon-Villars and Pergusa (they dont have it on Track-Base) and i changed it with Montjuic and Brathurst! Also great tracks!! Thank you for posting it and greatings from Germany

@2ndclass: Go too the SRMZ (SimRacingMIrrorZone) site and search for Imc or Apple and you will find threads on how to run GPL on a Mac. I just found 2 threads on that topic (I guess there are even more), but I can`t post the direct links here.

All available GPL tracks (currently 586) of the GPL Alternative Track Database are compatible with any GPL mod.

GPL runs fine on Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit).
