PLEASE ANSWER ASAP: I have an hd tv and im using the s video cables, my tv has no red yellow blue outputs on it cause its hd, it only has red blue green. I have no other choice but to plug the yellow cord into the green, the white into the blue, and the red into red. When I do this, my screen is gray but still has picture, but when i go back to my pinnacle studio, there is color. I dont understand it

to get better quality don't render it in pinnacle studio render it in vegas.. so you dont have to render twice

and you can slip in vegas

Hey, how would I setup my dazzle with an s-video but play on a HDTV using the component cables? I have n xbox cable with S-video, component and composite on with a switch between component to composit/S-video. (I think you have the same one) And im in the UK.

In order to record and watch your tv at the same time do you need splitters because I understand the color cables go into your dazzle and the dazzle hooks up to your computer, but how do you get the video on the tv?

@arecali626 yes you need splitters, i use 2 female ones i beleive, and i use that to capture the xbox but you need a third for sound

@xblcool I'm not sure, but if the Svideo on your TV is an output it might work, but best just to get a special svideo cable for that console.

You shouldn't need any more cables, although I can't garauntee this, no, you can use your TV (plug the yellow cable into your TV), any splitter really, they all do the same job. Svideo is basically the same, but higher quality, also, are you in the UK?

@Nordefull I'm not sure how you would do this with headphones, but if you want audio out the TV you'll need them, if you want to record with S-video you can't just use a normal S-video cable, you need to get a special xbox 360 one, like this one:

tinyurl(.)com/364on3y, you plug the audio (red/white) into the dazzle, and the SVIDEO into the dazzle, then you plug the yellow (video) one into your TV.

Okay, first off I have a white Dazzle. When I click "Capture" it doesn't have the Dazzle however when I go under the audio it says DVC100 which is my Dazzle. What's going on why can't I capture anything and only capture the sound?

Have you tried changin your xbox to pal 50 before opening pinnacle? Then changing it to pal 60 once it shows on the display ( assuming you're in the uk) or make site you have the right input selected ( s video / composite) and try changing it in pinnacle to NTSC ( by clicking the ardor next to the device name in the import)

Its Pinnacle Studio 14, any of the pinnacle studio programs will record though, or you can use windows movie maker aswell which is free
