there is 2 player, that I can tell u for sure. But I never played it. so far I heard something about arena mode in 2 player with a splitscreen. Im not sure if u can also explore a huge world. that would be awesome

There's an offline 2 player split-screen function.

It's pretty useless. I can tell it since I've tried it. A Wii is easy to connect, goes via WiFi, although you can get an adapter which supports internet cable's.

I suggest farming offline and doing your bosses and stuff online.

@XrikuaX most people think wii has shit graphics, but it's really in between the original xbox and the 360 (processing power-wise.) it's capable of bump mapping and HDR lighting.

Rofl Ever since I bought the Wii I regret getting it.. I got it back in 08.. Been wanting a 360 and Ps3 for a while.. And luckily my birthday is coming up.. And guess what I chose.. A laptop! I was kind of discouraged about not being able to get both a system and a laptop.. But I guess monster hunter 3 made me feel a bit more better.. I mean sure I dont have a next gen system but at least Im gonna get this game and a laptop :D.. So I guess good things do happen to people who wait..

The online will be free outside of Japan and for those wondering why this got on the Wii is Capcom wanted to release as PS3 insted of Wii but the buget wasn't big enough to even put the game on the PS3 so they had to make it for the Wii

The choice to put it on the Wii was likely financial. But it is a case of everyone who owns a PS3 being pissed and everyone who owns a Wii being happy. I own a Wii. I am guessing you own a PS3 :P

I wish all games were available on all systems, but that's unrealistic.

Haha yes i own a ps3 and a wii but i still think it would look and feel much better on the ps3. The buttons will be weird on the Wii.

Not sure how Tri is set out, however in Freedom UNITE, there's single player and multiplayer split into two different sets of quests.

You're in a town, and while there you can deal with farming, creating new weapons and armor, sorting items, and then you go to the village Chief to select from single player quests, you start with one star quests, there are set required quests and then side one's, however the game doesn't tell you which one, you must clear all required quests and then an urgent.

After the urgent, you unlock the next set of quests, however you are free to do quests from the previous sets even if you've done them.

It works the same for Multiplayer, but you go into the Guild building.
