  • Does it have built in effects?

  • thanks! nice demo

  • You said it stores up to 100 cue per cd, what about the cdj 400, does it have that feature?

  • I have 2 of these. Love'em.

  • Do they have Auto Cue mode?

  • Yes they do. Pioneer CDJ's are the best.

  • What speakers do you recommend with this rig?? I am mainly looking to play in gymnasiums and so on. A few options would be good.

    Thanx,

    ~Max

  • dude u helped alot and now i want the cdj 800 but what type of mixer

  • It depends how many channels you want, and the price you're willing to pay.

If you only want 2 channels, I'd go for the Pioneer DJM-400, brilliant mixer. If you want 4 channels, then I'd go for the DJM-700 or possibly 800 if you have that kind of money... Although, the DJM-700 isn't far off the DJM-400 price.

    Hope that helped...

  • i guess pjj2500 isnt like as rich as a celebrity so i would suggest a reloop rmx 40 dsp 369 euros look a like djm 600 lots of effects and cheaper than the djm 400

  • personally i would say its best to get a really cheap, 2 channel mixer and use that to learn to beatmach etc. Then go for a really nice one (a decent pioneer probs) when you really know what your doing. getting a mid-range one streight away is probably a waste of money. thats what i did anyway dude :)

  • god finally. it took me so long to find a video that showed how to to use cue points

im still deciding whether or not i should get a pair of these but i already have some stanton c.324's

judging from the video i think the features on c.324's are a lot more useful but they're starting to crap out on me :/

  • potatoking - I have used the c324's before and I can honestly say that selling those and investing into some mk2's would be a wise choice. In my opinion "features" and effects and such should be left to mixers, not CD players. It doesnt suprise me that your stantons are crapping out on you to be honest. Best of luck buddy!

  • thanks man. i guess i need to start saving :d

  • great thanks

  • informative tutorial thnx

  • nice and neat lecture... good teacher yo!

  • @jakhighton shut the fuck up! this guy helped me choose wich cdj table I was gonna have in both price and abilities

  • can i burn a CD with songs from itunes and put it in this and it will work?? please reply

  • you did a great job bro...

  • Ive had to learn to use one of these in one day for a show , both your tutorials were great, very informative ,now im ready to knock em dead ,thanks .Love Jeannie x

  • couldn't u just do alot of those tricks on record? if someone practiced? lmao unless they wanted to become tiesto lol

I'm sorry alot of djs I've seen use this on youtube look like ur typical cornball djs but whatever works for ya'll I guss...I just know where I sand and thats vinyl :) and if I was gonna switch? I'd go with the cd techs ;)

  • Cd technics are absolutely horrible man. just horrible. they look nice ill admit, but they are garbage. so many glitches with the firmware...unbelievable. technics should only make tables, cause everything else is junk. just my opinion.

  • Hey Nygel36, great tutorial i really want to buy this. but the problem with your videos are that i cant hear the music and it would be really good if we had some sound so we could hear what the vynal scratch sound sounded like

  • I would rather get these because serato with turntables will need a laptop at a party, or club, and if the laptop dies your DEAD.

  • wouldnt it be cheaper if you just bought serato for $500 instead of buying cdjs for $700? If your main reason was for getting new music.

  • normal - yes and no. I prefer cdj over tech's forthe que/loop/accuracy aspect, so I plan on picking up serato someday so i dont have to keep burning cd's over and over. Other than that, I dont belive in serato, its a lie to people trying to learn to DJ.

  • Not really a lie, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Sebastian Ingrosso and other Dj's of that caliber use Serato.

  • For people that allready understand the mechanics of beatmatching and have a trained ear, its a fantastic peice of equipment. For people LEARNING to dj, all they do is stare at the wave form display and correct.. not listen to the music and learn.

  • Very true.. The wave form completely makes it a piece of cake to mix. But, your mix will sound so much better when you mix by ear and not by visuals..

  • I saw when you were goin through the tract titles and artists, I saw Deadmau5. A friend of mine is good friends with him. I remember when i could download his stuff for free from his website. Now i have to pay...=D

  • SOOOOO Jealous. I haven't found a single track by Deadmau5 i haven't liked

  • hey..good video..i have a question: cdj 800 have the effect like WAH, ZIP, JET (cdj-100)?? thx man i wait ur answer because i want buy it next week

  • no sir, no built in effects on the cdj800

  • Good job!!!!
