Currently Vic's Character is in the "self-pity" stage where he tries to enjoy as much of life as possible and records them for his mother's sake. He had confided to his mother of his illness and so she allows him to roam free. Meanwhile his ex-fiance's secret admirer/friend is upset and beats him up without knowing why Vic called the wedding off. He goes home, dad fires him for not doing his duty. father does not know of his illness bcause he might confine him to a hospital.
