that's a rollback wrecker, not a flatbed. flatbed is a "lesser truck" than a rollback, bed is fixed, not moveable OR slantable.

Thanks for the correction - the average joe (aka ME) doesn't know this. The operator was very skilled and pointed out that all these kinds of trucks are custom made, and he was entering that truck in some sort of contest as it was very nice and new. His boss was head of some national tow truck/heavy machinery guild or something. The shop where the mill came from that same day was removing a pair of 20-30,000lb lathe and grinder on a semi. THAT was amazing!
