I also stopped smoking weed because it was making me paranoid after years of everyday use and I just wanted to live a life without drugs. You do become dependent on Marijuana. The person who sexually abused me as a child, was a drug addict. That is one reason why I am not for legalizing heavy drugs. Drugs seem to desensitize people from moral common sense for some reason. For example, a lot of guys always talk about getting women drunk, so that they are more willing to sleep with them. People tend be more careless and much more willing to get involved in risky behavior when intoxicated.

You have some very good points IanCrossland. To respond to several here, I think he is talking about the criminality. Not everyone can get a card, and the law makes us criminals. Just because they say so, regardless if we harm others. The laws should be changed, then if you have a problem with drugs, help is just down the road. Instead of a cell, which makes people languish at home who need help.
