@Roy999888 The dislikes are from some narutard I pissed off about a year ago (Got mad at me, made alt accounts, rated my videos low multiple times etc)
IDEA FOR THE MUSIC: The title theme will either be a remake of this or the title theme from the original F-Zero.
The most EPIC music track is unlocked when you beat the 150th achievement, which is beating 149 achievements. That song is... yeah, you guessed it. The Meaning Of Truth!
For the old tracks, they should put the original song from that version (For example, Mute City from the SNES would have the Mute City theme from the SNES (NOT a remake!)
The next F-Zero should also have a checklist full of unlockables that is divided into 10 difficulty groups of 15 achievements (so a total of 150 achievements). You can unlock machine parts, music, machines, parts for track editor, perhaps even more features for a pilot creator thing where you can create your own pilot.
Good point. If they don't add retro tracks, we can make them ourselves, if they add a track editor. However, they might make track editor an unlockable feature (to prevent the possibility of creating a track, which was supposed to be unlocked first.)
Of all of the theme music in the F-Zero games, I think that this one is the best. It has a sense of beauty to it and it feels like the music has a purpose. It's not hardcore, yet not too soft. It's dramatic yet light. Something that will be stuck in your head for hours. The next F-Zero game should re-use this. In fact, THIS is the permanent F-Zero theme.
If Nintendo would get off of its lazy ass, then it would make F-Zero WX. But, it's too busy milking Mario. It's a shame really, but if it's ever made, this HAS to be in it.
Yeah. It's quite a shame. But, Nintendo has to eat, too (sarcasm; they've made enough money to set them up for a long time, they can take a risk, MAKE ANOTHER F-ZERO, NINTENDO!).
The thing is, it is rumored that it is in development... by CAPCOM. But I kind of doubt that because when F-zero GX was made by Sega, Miyamoto didn't like it, even though it had a score of (I think) 9.1/10 on IGN. Hopefully it will be out in 2010 to celebrate F-Zero's 20th anniversary.
Rumored to be? Where did you get this? :D Well, Miyamoto has been good to F-Zero, but really, he needs to let F-Zero be F-Zero, not try to turn it into a "casual experience". Yeah, I guess Miyamoto didn't like GX for the same reason why it turned off many people: too brutal and too unforgiving. I went through hell to unlock everything in GX. It'd be good to tone it down a bit, but keep it challenging. I still would like Monster Games to make GX, they did a great job on ExciteBots: Trick Racing.
I completely agree. F-Zero is, infact, one of Nintendo's ONLY skill based games that they have left. Mario Kart did take skill, back in the SNES and N64 days. But, eversince the Gamecube era, it started getting casualized. Now look at Mario Kart Wii: It's completely luck based now. Honestly, Nintendo needs to keep their games at a moderately mature skill level. Sadly, they're not doing so well with that, at the moment.
The next F-Zero should have the speed of F-Zero GX, the music of all the games, and the difficulty of F-Zero X (which is still pretty hard). It should also make good use of the Wii Wheel and have an option to use a Gamecube controller. The Wii Wheel controls should be similar to Speed Racer for the Wii (2 to accelerate, tilt the wheel to turn, shake the wheel to attack, use B to boost, press B twice to do a boost fire (from the anime), etc.)
Well, it should reuse the same engine of GX (it will be Wii standards, meaning not so good), but that's because I want them to focus on improving the gameplay, NOT GRAPHICS. They should keep all Climax pilots, no story mode, and (most importantly) put online that works, which is why I want Monster Games to take hold of the project. Music should be composed by Nintendo, ExciteBots' music was okay, but not F-Zero good, so Nintendo should handle that. Plus, all GameCube control is best.
Story Mode might actually be good, to sequel GX's storyline. But, that's only my opinion. I do agree with you, on letting in the Climax racers. I would say use the Maximum Velocity racers, if it weren't for the fact that Maximum Velocity takes place way after the original series. Of course, good music is a must. What I'd like to see, is them bringing back some of their older tracks, that they didn't use in GX. Like Silence, and Devil's Forest. Maybe Space Plant. Death Wind would be nice, also.
Devil's Forest, no, Space Plant, no. Death Wind for sure. Space Plant was just... nothing, and Devil's Forest.... I can do without. They could make a few new worlds, but they have to make sure to represent all older tracks.
Maybe a new Sector track (Like how they had Sector A, and Sector Beta in F-Zero X.) What I do miss though, is Fire Field's older background design. How you were actually racing over a field of lava, instead of inside a giant volcano. I'd like to see Mist Flow and Illusion in a 3D F-Zero game, however. Even though both are relatively new.
Fire Field's older background design, Only if the game has championships that include old tracks (like in Mario Kart). Mist Flow, no. Illusion, would be a good idea, but isn't it kind of like the same thing as Phantom Road? Death Wind, It would be a GREAT idea, but can the developers of the game make it so the wind actually shoves you in a direction like in the original? Space Plant was a piece of crap, and Devil's Forest.... meh...
Now that you mention in, Illusion would be a bit like Phantom Road. And, you actually stated why I wanted Death Wind in. Death Wind would actually put in a challenging concept. Honestly, the tracks need more difficult opsticals, other than just ice/dirt strips, and land mines.
Mist Flow would have a challenging obstacle, but it's one that I went through hell with. The fog that limits your visibility. They should also use that in some Sand Ocean tracks (a sandstorm) and they could also use a sandstorm if they decide to bring back Sand Storm (from BS F-Zero 2).
It would've been nice, if in the Sand Ocean tracks, they added actual background obstacles. Like, if they were to add tornadoes in the background again, like they did in GX, actually make it so they have some sort of effect on your machine.
Perhaps some new Sand Ocean tracks have tornadoes that actually go on the track and damage every machine that runs into them. Mute City should also have something similar; maybe some tracks are on Mute City's streets and if you hit a building your car will suffer damage.
If Lightning is included in F-Zero Wii, bolts of lightning should strike parts of the track. Any car that gets hit will explode instantly.
If some races take place on streets (in Port Town, Mute City, Bianca City or Aeropolis), there should be traffic that you can attack. If you bump into one (if not attacking) you will lose some energy.
@Superpizzabros LOL Your lighting Idea I invented when I was like, 8 :D good timez...good timez.. :D exept the lighting bolt took HALF of your power suply and you couldnt boost for like, 10 sec. :D
My idea for a story mode was something like this: 3 years after the events of F-Zero Climax, Captain Falcon and Rick Wheeler are seriously injured in a race, allowing Black Shadow to finally become the champion. He creates a time portal and goes on to beat racers from other time periods (such as Maximum Velocity and F-Zero AX), but he leaves the time protals open for the best racers of these time periods to come and beat him. You can pick from 10 different characters to play story mode with.
That could work. However, the fact that Climax isn't necassarily the "original" F-Zero series, could make things a bit confusing. Since the original series takes place in the 26th century. Climax only takes place in 2201, iirc. Not to mention, that in Climax, Captain Falcon is someone different, than the one in the original. (Climax Falcon = Bart Lemming. Original Falcon = Douglas J.) But, they did pull all of the other characters into that time period, so things could actually work both ways.
The storyline could also happen in the 26th ceuntry (without Rick Wheeler in the proloque) and Black Shadow could beat everyone from the past and the future. You could take control of 10 different characters and play through their storyline (sort of like in GP Legend). If story mode is not included, they should make a "career mode" where you create your own pilot and machine, and race through tournaments wo become the ultimate champion.
As soon as I see a Koopa Shell following the Blue Falcon, I know that I'm done with Nintendo. The only reason then would be because of Metroid and Pokemon that I would stay.
The first F-Zero without Captain Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Samurai Goroh and the rest of the other original racers. One pilot claims to be Falcon's son in this game
I do believe Dr. Stewart had some mention of making one of the machines in the game. I can't remember which one it was, though. The characters may have retired, but there's still two stages that are around. Fire Field and Silence. Of course Silence is on the multiplayer mode.
