i thought about coming to JSU after 1 year at JC. i don't know if i should come in as a transfer or start over again and come with a fresh plate as a freshman. and is it true that i have to be like 6 feet to play snare? cause I've never marched snare *was saving snare for JSU*

@ckdrummer94 I realize that it's a different style of battery playing than what I did. I've hear great bands and lines that play like that. For me this wasn't good, bass drums were too loose, tenors weren't locked in and snares never seemed to be all togeher. It seemed as if to much focus was on how cool we look than the quality of how we sound. Maybe I was to harsh with my other comment.

I use to hate show style drumlines, until I saw one in person lol I realized, I love all styles of drumlines. They're is no right or wrong way to do it, as long as you do it. I love corps and show style drumlines, they're both awesome and equally difficult, but in different ways.
